I have been having a tingling problem with my hair for months before I went to see Buffy and all I have to say is she is one of the best stylists that I have ever seen. She took my Tangled Up mess of hair and made it straight and soft and beautiful again. I will be back and will highly recommend Buffy and Southern Sass to all of my friends and family. Wife asked for her natural hair color of brown. First try it came out patchy (black and brown. Not what she asked for). She was then told it would be another $200 to shampoo it again. Second try it turned out blonde (again not what she asked for). She was then told they would charge more to color it to what she wanted. In total, she paid $400 to change her hair from black to brown. To me this seems like bad ethics and she shouldn't of had to pay extra when they messed up. 100% do NOT recommend.

I don’t leave many reviews but felt this one is warranted given the disappointment in what I paid and how everything turned out. I’m giving two stars because they were able to fit our bridal party in last minute (2 weeks before the wedding) and the staff was very nice. Now the disappointment....I paid $200 for three up-dos and two make-up applications. One up-do lasted until the end of the wedding but the other two were falling down before the ceremony even started (three hours after done). The make-up application was the biggest disappointment. The lighting was horrible and left the bride with an uneven/not blended jaw line and clown-like eyebrows. We had to wear our own foundation and apply our own mascara. During the make-up application the bride was asked if she had finishing powder and when she said no, the lady doing her make-up said let me run out to my car and get some more make-up like it was her personal stash. Also, they did not have fake lashes (which I figured would be discussed with the bride prior to the big day but wasn’t) and was told well you can go to Wal-Mart and get some and we’ll put them on. As for my own make-up I had to tell her to even out the shading on my eyes at least three times—I’m not expert at make-up application but at least I can shade evenly and notice when it’s not even. I did not make a big deal about my dissatisfaction at the salon as we were pressed for time. I would not recommend the salon for professional make-up application.

Rachel Wilds is the one to go to!!!! I walked in there feeling super embarrased about myself because my hair was down to my butt and was REALLY brassy and dead. Walked out feeling pretty and comfortable with myself again!!! Have had really bad experiences with every other hair salon in town, but not Southern Sass. Super friendly environment and Rachel did an amazing job!!

My mom and I are VERY dissatisfied with our hair. We both got Cuts & hi-low light color. I will say that our stylist seemed very nice. When I called to talk to the manager/owner Buffy, to relay my dissatisfaction, she asked that I come in and talk to her and the stylist. I agreed to do this. After our discussion Buffy wanted to fix/make it right. My mom and I were not comfortable with this. After clearly stating what we wanted and showed pictures to the stylist of what we liked and would like to do similarly, we both feel like we were not listened to and what we wanted did not matter. My mothers hair was cut very unevenly and I have the pictures showing so and the color was NOT what she wanted. My cut and color is NOT what I wanted either. So I asked for a refund for my mom's services only (trying to be generous) even though I feel I should have got a partial refund for mine as well. Buffy said she would not do that but would make it right by fixing mine and my mom's cut/color. It was not done to my liking the first time and the attitude that I felt come across was "too bad". This was not said, but it was something that I felt was portrayed. I am very unhappy with this Salon that says they want business, but are not willing to listen to their client.

The best salon in town! The girls are awesome, the owner is awesome and you can get everything from a haircut or color, manicure, pedicure, massage, facial, eyebrows microblading, eyelash extensions, and wax services.

Absolute best place to go in Warrensburg. Sydney is a God send! I’m ALWAYS happy with my hair and I’ve never had a bad experience.

I have been going to Miss Buffy for about 3 years and have nothing but great things to say! Buffy is honest if a look isn't right for me and is patient with my perfectionism. If I don't love something she is always willing to fix it until I'm happy. If you're looking for a great experience with beautiful results you have come to the right place!
