Not good with large nervous dogs. The vet tech was great but the Dr immediately approached the dog from behind scared her and told us she didn't have 5 minutes to spend letting our dog get used to her. I called twice prior to warn them she was nervous at the vet to try and avoid this issue. total waste of time.

I just started going to this veterinary hospital and my first 2 appointments I had to wait an hour plus. The 2nd time I waited close to 75 minutes and when I brought it up to the front desks attention all I got back was "Yes we have an emergency today". No apology, no asking if I want to reschedule, nothing. It was 3p during the work week. I took off to bring my dog in. I hope the animal is fine that had the emergency. I just wish there was some updates or even a personality, Im no longer coming here.

The most helpful staff ever! My dogs paw looked infected this morning and they were able to squeeze me in same day for an appointment. The vet tech, Dylan, was so helpful and nice. He halved all the pills for us and was so good with my dog. I had to bring my one year old with me since it was last minute and the office staff helped me by walking my dog to my car for me while I pushed the stroller. They made everything as easy as possible for me I couldn’t thank them enough!

Please see my full review on Yelp as I’m hoping to help other dogs. Also included in the Yelp review is the letter from the Cardiologist stating that the medication that was prescribed to my dog for her heart murmur is not used to treat heart murmurs and he explains what this medication is used for. In addition to my Yelp review, my dog had blood work done on Aug. 30, 2020. On Sept. 1, 2020, it is noted in my dog’s records to revisit blood work, proteinuria and to check blood pressure in 2 months. My dog saw the Dr. on Sept. 23, 2020, for an exam and blood work. My dog also saw the Dr. on Nov.18, 2020 for an exam and blood work and another office visit on Nov. 21, 2020. My dog’s blood pressure was never checked in Nov. or in the many office visits she had after Nov. My dog’s records prove all this. My dog’s last blood pressure was taken on April 8, 2019, when she had surgery and her blood pressure was not mentioned again to be checked until April 14, 2021. Sadly, my dog passed away at 14.5 years old and she didn’t need to suffer through syncopal episodes or be on unnecessary medications had she been referred to a Cardiologist and all this just adds to my already broken heart of missing her.

Took my dog for a dental and my dog was puking and not eating for days. I called the hospital and the secretary told me it's normal after surgery. Couple days later I brought my dog in for bloodwork, he was in kidney failure. He spent the next 12 days as an inpatient at RBVH. I followed up with the vet at RBVH for bloodwork and blood pressure check. He was fine. 6 months after going to RBVH I took him to Bayshore for his routine bloodwork and blood pressure check. I was told his blood pressure was high and his blood pressure meds needed to be changed. After a couple of weeks on this new med my dog goes into kidney failure again. This time he's being treated at Bayshore as an outpatient. His vet agreed that his new blood pressure med put him in kidney failure and we'd go back to the original med. After 6 days of daily out patient fluids my dog was getting worse and not better. Turns out my dog was still being given the med that put him in kidney failure and not his original med another trip to RBVH and I tell the ER Dr exactly what happened and they continued to poison my dog with the blood pressure med that put him in failure. After 12 days again in the hospital I had to put my 5 year old dog to sleep because his kidney values were not decreasing. .

I've been coming to this practice since 2006 for the care of 5 dogs and 7 cats. They are phenomenal here! The care & love they give your animals cannot be matched. Everyone from the front desk personnel to the support staff & technicians to the veterinarians are wonderful. They treat you & your animals with the utmost care & respect. They take their time and give each appointment a personal touch. I appreciate Dr. Moniello, Dr. Raicer, and Dr. Nalven and the care they have provided and continue to provide to my pets. I recommend them to all dog and cat owners in the area.

Highly recommend! We’ve taken our rescue pup here for all her routine visits over the last year. All staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. Yes sometimes there is a wait to be seen but they give you all the time you need once it’s your turn! Shout out to Dr. Wilcox and her tech, they made our dog feel very comfortable and she answered all my questions/concerns. Thank you!

They're so sweet and caring. They have seen my cat and my dog goes regularly since he was a puppy. They are slightly pricier than other vets but they're so friendly and accomadating I don't see us ever switching. They fit you in for important visits within hours and you're in and out.
