I’ve been here twice. The first time everything went smoothly but there was something sticky all over the side of the suv when I received it. The second time, they did not have a car for me even though I had paid for the reservation weeks prior. They said no rental company ever holds cars for people. I had to call cust svc for my refund.

I'd give 0 stars is possible. Rental ran out of gas 11:40p on Fri night. After 9 phone calls n 4 days the vehicle was finally towed and retrieved. All while roadside assistance repeated to not leave the vehicle unattended. We were expected to sit on side of road waiting for a tow truck that was never coming. It was extremely danderous and unprofessional. We will NEVER rent from this company again.

Horrible experience. We had received damage on car which was clearly stated on a one way rental. On dropping off the car, the rental office noted the claim as new despite having all the documentation for it from original. Zero stars

I was very satisfied with my rental. I got a brand new SUV and it was ready on time, clean, and the staff was very accommodating. I had no wait time and was super happy with my experience at this location.

Be mindful before renting! They will rip you off. I made an online reservation for an economy car $33 day and Ali charged me $120 day. Very rude! I’ve used Budget before and no issues. It’s this location.

when I use the web everything is easy and the reservation is clear in terms of prices and the choices for the rental or what I will need for the rental car and when I go to the office which is in North Bergen NJ the employees are friendly and do everything a lot easier than you imagine the buget team do an excellent job

my worst nightmare at the location on 501 Kennedy Boulevard, NORTH BERGEN, NJ 07047 US i had a reservation confirmed for today but they want to charge me more than double the price for no good reason called in nothing happened the man at the counter laugh at me in my face wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Worst experience ever!! Very slow.. took forever to get the agreement printed out. The car was very dirty - my palm was covered in dirt and dust after opening the door. Poor vehicle maintenance - wheel alignment was off and the air conditioner stopped working mid-way. Had to find another Budget location to get the car exchanged. Budget/Avis customer service is not good either. Overall, definitely not worth the price. My first and last time renting a car from Budget/Avis.

Horrible experience. I reserved a car for 3pm pickup. When I arrived via Uber at 3:10pm, they informed me that they did not have a call available for my reservation. Felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode as I questioned them about what was the point of a reservation if it doesn't actually guarantee a car will be available. They claimed they called me multiple times. In reality, I had one missed call at 2:45pm. Left scrambling with no car or alternative option.

I was given a truck as against a compact car booking. The reason they mentioned was because I'm 3 hours late. While the whole point of a car reservation is that they are supposed to keep the car 'reserved'. I can understand if they said my car pick up time would be what I had originally booked. The truck itself had weak brakes, the reverse didn't work always and wasn't cleaned like normally supposed to be done for a pick up. The hosts were really nice and apologetic about not having the car they have taken the booking for. The quality of the car ruined our entire trip. It is not acceptable to take bookings against unavailable vehicles
