I have a 10:30am appointment and I've been waiting for an hour. It's over 15 people waiting. The check in was the only easy thing about this appointment. People are frustrated and Im starving. Quest needs to manage their schedule. They only have one person working which is ridiculous. Quest you have to do better!

Warning!! Do not book your appointment here. Obviously they do not care about peoples time. They have only one person working and overbooked appointments. Everyone has been waiting 2 1/2 hours. So unprofessional.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL if you are a young black woman going here for pre-employment drug testing. The lady who did my test was very rude and short with me, then ACCUSED ME OF USING A HEATING PAD. Are you kidding me? She stood right outside the bathroom and listened to me collect the sample, so this was INSANE to say the least. There was something inside the bathroom when I walked in and I paid it no mind because I assumed they’d already done their jobs properly and checked the bathrooms after each patient— wrong. Instead, she held ME responsible for HER neglect and said she’ll need to tell “them” that there was a heating pad in the restroom. This is ridiculous and I urge you to not trust this Quest location for any testing needs, especially not for pre-employment.

If I could give 0, I would definitely do it. This is THE FIRST place that I have been to that patient can't do blood work even with a appointment, just because the nurse think I'm 5 mins late. You hear me right, I enter the room 5 mins later than the appointment time, she said you miss it, I can't take you, while it was far from their closing time, yet no body's there, just a empty room with a unprofessional and rude nurse. I asked her if this is your company's, why I didn't find it via website and confirmation email, and btw you could just do the blood work right now, since nobody else is here. She just repeated you miss it bye. This is beyond ridiculous.

There is a reason this place gets 2 stars overall. The staff is rude and unpleasant. They have forgotten that the patients are ultimately paying their paycheck. Specifically, I asked them for a simple request and it was met with “the is the policy.” I asked them to ask their management for an easy request and they couldn’t be bothered. Then they had a major attitude, as if my request was out of line. On the bright side, the technician was excellent at phlebotomy, the reason I didn’t give 1 star.

This place is disorganized and runs with no accountability. The labs techs manage themselves and could care less about doing their jobs or customer service. The 2.2 rating may be too high as you should expect poor customer service and long wait times despite having an appointment.

The girl was very rude and I had An appointment stated they do not accept my insurance after I already Called to confirm they did sent me home without a very important lab test needed for my upcoming surgery and now I’m on the phone with quests billing department and they are staying they accept my insurance. I will Be making a formal complaint to HR.

I was skeptical to come here given what I read from the reviews, but I’m grateful that we had a great experience. Our phlebotomist was Kenia. She was absolutely AMAZING. We had to bring in our 15 month old for some blood work. We did not have an appointment and knew there would be a wait, especially on a Saturday morning. We waited about 15-20 minutes. When we were called in and our work order was put in the system, she found a discrepancy in what was written due to our doctor’s office putting in the codes for a different lab company. While it was frustrating to have to call the doctor’s office and get this all cleared up- especially on a Saturday morning when the office isn’t open- I’m glad she caught that because there was a mix up in the lab code and what the blood would’ve been drawn for. The entire time Kenia accommodated us and was super gentle with our little one. I understand why some of the reviews would mention being dealt with in a rude manner. But I also understand that those working at Quest Diagnostics really try their best to get everyone in and out in a timely manner, especially when you don’t have an appointment. We will definitely use their facility in the future for other lab work.

Very impersonal experience. When you arrive, you use an iPad to check in - no one greets you. The nice thing about this location is that I've rarely had to wait long before I get called. However, the technician I had today was awful. The other techs I've had at this location have been fine, but she tried both arms, missed the vein both times, and just kept digging around in my arm with the needle. I finally asked for a colleague of hers to do the job and the colleague stuck me on the first attempt. (For the record, I get blood work done frequently and I'm not a difficult stick!) The tech also made a mistake with my paperwork. My order was for four tests, three of which were supposed to be standing orders. She got confused because the fourth test cannot be put in as a standing order, so she put none of them in as a standing order. Now I'm just praying she put the correct priority on the orders so that I can get my results today! The other rotten thing about Quest is that you can't call any of the locations directly. You get some automated voice system and, if you finally do get through to a person, it is someone at a call center and you can't reach the location where you went for your lab test. So much for fixing my paperwork! I either have to go back to the location that messed up in Teaneck, or wait for my paperwork to be scanned so the rude people at the call center can try to fix it. Horrible customer service and zero attention to detail.
