The Phone Cellar does not exist. The address is the New York City College of Technology. When I arrived there I couldn't find any shops in the building. The phone number is answered only by voice mail. This is most likely a scam to be avoided.

Horrible operation! Sells defective products. Buyer beware. Do not buy-you will regret it. I purchased a PS5 through them and received it with a bad HDMI port. It was an additional $200 to repair the console. They do not cover return shipping and hold your for 10-14 days after they receive the return. Complete scam operation. Please avoid.

It's nervous to buy the refurbished item but it's a lot more then what I expected. I got the very good item in the great shape and like new working condition. The selller also replied very quickly. Great experience!

The phone I received was defective, so I was issued an RMA and told someone would be contacting me when they received it so that I can choose whether I wanted a refund or replacement. I was hoping to get a replacement, but after receiving the item they just issued me a partial refund for 80% of the original purchase price. After reviewing their return policy it states that they charge a 10% restocking fee, so I don't know why they kept 20%. Furthermore, after contacting eBay, the representative informed me that if the item I received was defective that I was entitled to a full refund. I tried messaging them directly to get back the difference but they never responded, so I was forced to file a claim with eBay. I don't know how they got their Top-Rated Seller certification if this is how they treat their customers. I would advise buyers to BEWARE!!

Seller is a scammer. Knowingly misrepresented product sold. I ordered 2 Ring Floodlight Cameras that, while accurately described as “Used item! will have signs of previous use (dust, dirt, scratches, dents, etc)”, were received without necessary parts that would be included in a new product. It was fine that they had been used, but the expectation was that they have all the parts and were operable. When I hired an electrician to install them, it was discovered that the boxes were missing parts essential to making them operable....parts that are not sold separately. Seller would not honor a return because it was outside the 30 day return window. Given other negative reviews on phone_cellar, it may be that this seller is selling stolen property, or products that they know are damaged or defective. I would strongly recommend not buying from this ebay seller.

They sell stolen phones!!! Stay away from this shop! I bought a preowned iPhone from their eBay store in 2018 the phone worked fine until recently I decided to change carrier. The phone I bought is unlocked but it is on T-mobile’s block list. I’ve never used T-mobile before. T-mobile told me this was a stolen iPhone or the bill of the previous owner never paid off! I sent the order number and a screenshot through eBay, they denied that order!

This place is the worst. Bought a Samsung Galaxy S10 from their store, worked fine for a few months, then I had to send it in for a simple repair from Samsung (headphone jack broke). Samsung fixed it with no issue, but the device was reset when I got it back (as they normally are) and all of a sudden the phone is almost useless, a message shows up on the screen that the device is locked from Sprint (a carrier I have never used) and that there are still payments owed from the device. So the phone I fully purchased, sold as an unlocked device, was most likely stolen or sold to them by someone who owed money on it and they cheaply masked that fact. Could not even bother to get back to me about it. Avoid this place at all costs, who knows if there are other locked/stolen devices they are selling under false pretenses.

These people may be good, but you can't get a response out of them for anything. I bought an "UNLOCKED" phone that was stated to work with Verizon - however - Verizon could not get it to work and they claim it was still locked with AT&T. I contacted the and asked for a return in exchange for phone that is a VERIZON or VERIZON unlocked phone. They said they would exchange but didn't give any info on how to return. I contacted them several times and no replies at all. I had to go to my credit card company and complain to get any results - they finally agreed to allow me to return the phone, but no info on how to exchange and they never answer their emails. Piss-poor company in my opinion.
