I took my grandson here to pick up a new PlayStation controller. The employees are very helpful and informative. This little store has a lot to offer.

It’s GameStop, you know what to expect you either hate them or love them. What usually makes a GameStop is the customer service which this store does well. 🙏🏻

My favorite place to shop for games, even among other Gamestop stores. Ask the friendly staff any questions you may have, they really know their stuff. You don't have to worry about them looking at you weirdly if you're a lady gamer either. They're more than happy to discuss games you might enjoy, based on your preferences or find you a great deal. I scored a preowned copy of Kingdom Hearts 3 for $8 last night! Happy shopping!

Was soured on Gamestop years ago but I posted some games for sale on facebook and got a message from someone saying I would get more at Gamestop for certain Mario Wii games that I was selling them for on facebook. I looked it up and couldn't believe it. Mario Galaxy Mario Kart, Wii Sports Resort, Super Mario Bros all gave a decent trade-in price, especially if you traded in for Store credit. So I took some games there and everything seemed to go pretty well. I asked the guy some questions and about Gamestop promotions and everything else and I learned about some coupons and stuff that actually makes it worthwhile to buy games there as opposed to anywhere else. Skip to me in my car looking over my receipt and seeing a -$5.00 refurb service on two of the games I traded in. REALLY? I wouldn't have been upset if this was explained to me at the register; I would have just said ok I will sell them somewhere else. I went back inside and he's like they were scratched. So I asked to see the games. Ok they were scratched some but why didn't you tell me. He said he didn't know he was required to tell customers about it. Jesus. I asked him if Gamestop trains employees to not tell people about the refurb fee, hoping they won't notice it. He offered to let me buy back the games but I said just forget it why don't you just from now on TELL PEOPLE about the refurb fee. I just feel taken advantage of. Like I know every company purpose is to make a profit but this seems shady business to me. Why not just say hey I'm letting you know two of these games both are minus 5 dollars because they are scratched. Ok no big deal. I do get the impression he was trained not to tell customers about this or at the very least he gets some kind of commission and didn't want to tell me in case I wouldn't have traded in the games. Not cool. To be honest I cared so little about Gamestop a month ago that I subscribed to Game Informer magazine by itself for $15 instead of just becoming a Pro GameStop member for $20 where the magazine is included. But today before I saw my receipt my opinion of GameStop had risen out of the swamp and I thought I might just have been too hard on them about their prices and corporate policies and that maybe I would become a return customer and renew my pro membership. But no my first impression was correct. This company is a scammer, especially now that their quarterly profits are sinking down the drain.

This location NEVER answers the phone. They force stuff on you even when you say your not interested. Used games are just as expensive as new online.

This location is amazing! If I knew how to create another account to give them another five starts, I would! I have made the mistake of ordering from their website more than once, and every time this location has to correct online’s mistakes. The staff is incredible, they always take care of us!

Staff was friendly and even was kind enough to let me know I was able to get a free game with my purchase. Small for a gamestop but still had what I wanted.

Staff is friendly and helpful; best GameStop location on the East Coast in my opinion. Pat, the manager, is always super talkative and nice. Alex, (assistant manager?) is fabulous and always super upbeat. Lucas is the most calm and rational person I’ve ever met at a GameStop location; his shoes are always on point as well. My favorite by far though is Dalton; he is always very kind and helpful. I haven’t walked into that store once without him greeting me and asking if I needed help finding any games or collectibles. He also always hands me a physical paper with all the weekly deals without me even having to ask! Dalton is also fantastic about recommending Pre-orders! I always feel super informed and welcome when I go to the Painted Post GameStop.

Called today and I think ALEX answered. Asked about a VR . $250 for a USED headset ONLY. I nicely said wal mart has a NEW bundle with camera, headset, and a game for $299. His response to me was “ well! Go buy it there then” So Mr. Alex . I hope you get fired for being a douchebag . Lucky I don’t come there and pop you in your mouth. I only stated what I did due to I thought maybe they do price compare
