A hardware store, it's OK. However, online they showed Top Shot stain remover as a product they sell; wasn't available in the store, sloppy.

Valu is always good and a nice place to shop for necessities. It is still nice to see CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT DEAD HERE. It is service with a smile. We need to get back to that again......

They have the basic needs for homes without walking into miles if big store chains. I love shopping there for easy in and out. The furniture section is great and priced fair. I bought my Flatscreen stand there and was very impressed and satisfied with it.

After going to a big home supplies store to buy concrete paint, and was treated very rudly because I didn't know everything about paint, I left. What a contrast to the soft spoken and informed man who waited on me at Value. I was shown what paint to buy, and he not only carried the gallon to the counter, but my car as well.. This kind of service is invaluable. Thank you!

This is my local hardware store and I support them whenever possible. They are not as large as Home Depot or Lowes, but 90% of the time I can find what I am looking for there. They really seem to appreciate the business too. Every customer is greeted as they walk through the door, and usually within a minute an associate will approach and offer assistance. If you say "no, I'm good" they will walk away and not hover over you. If you accept their help, some are quite knowledgeable, but it really depends on who you get. I would say on average they are half way in between the old fashioned local hardware store where the proprietor knew everything and the Home Depot associate who is really just there as a summer job. Prices are excellent, and watch the flyers, because sale prices for things like batteries are sometimes ridiculously good.
