Veronica was hands-down the best customer service rep I have ever dealt with!! She went above and beyond and her personality is magnificent. Made the whole process of renting/buying a car so easy. Thank you Veronica for being so fantastic!! Five stars is not enough

I'm literally shaking as I write this review. I scheduled a prepaid reservation only for it to be cancelled and no cars available. I want to preference that I DO NOT blame the team members but the actual company policy that allows a prepaid reservation and MONIES HELD, AND A TOTAL OF 7 HOURS trying to resolve the matter. That means that not only have I encountered the stress of not making a company meeting, not fulfilling a corporate obligation and scrambling to make other arrangements. MY TIME! I can not believe that Avis values the customer or their team members who are now subjected to dealing with customers who are under a great deal of stress due to not being able to travel as planned. The card should have never been charged if there were no cars available. I hope the team members do not experience any unruly customers and that they are able to just do their jobs and go home and enjoy their families. I thank each one of them who attempted to help. Here's another 1 Star Review on top of all the other 1 star reviews that have been given for this company. I hope other travelers have better success.

Car Rental Company That Does not Honor Reservations The reviews here all seem to have one theme in common and that is the availability issue. Unfortunately, each time I rent at this location I am constantly anxious that they may not have a car available (despite making reservation weeks in advance). I do call/email in advance to confirm availability, however there have been countless times that when I come I am told there are no cars available. I believe I should expect to have piece of mind when renting a car and not have to worry about if cars are available. I also feel I have wasted a lot of time going back and forth to the location. It’s a pretty disappointing experience. There should be a lot more reliability when it comes to reservations and availability. To reduce my risk, I have to book a car a day in advance (from when I need the car). . Car Availability: 0/10 - Consistent stress that cars may not be available despite having reservations Friendliness: 8/10 – Staff is friendly and polite Communication: 3/10 – I have been told to come in even though cars were not available. Car Quality: 6/10 – One car had a flat tire which should have been inspected Hours: 9/10 – Convenient hours While the staff is friendly and nice, I feel that having peace of mind is really important when renting a car.

the women at the counter went through my phone and seen how much money i make with my employer and still refused to give me my employee discount. she went through my emails, and pictures in my phone without my consent than strarted calling other avis location to see if she violated company policy by doing so. on top of that i was given a car without a full tank and i returned it with a full take and received a $16 fuel charge after i made the man that walks around the car confirm that the tank was before i left

The individual I picked the car up from was very nice, but not helpful. I had reserved a car well in advance only to be told when I got there that they were out of that size and smaller. Rather than upgrade me at no additional charge, I was forced to pay $134 MORE than I anticipated (or I wouldn't have transportation). At drop off, the attendants were too busy chatting it up with one another to be helpful at all. Would not recommend. Enterprise has much better customer service.

Worst experience ever when dealing with personnel and renting a vehicle. I booked my rental 2 weeks in advance through our corporate account. I was called the day before pickup to inform me that my vehicle I had reserved online through Avis' main site was not accurate. They told me the vehicle I selected was not available that that the communication between main Avis scheduler and site does not usually match up to what's actually at site. So I was placed on a wait list and advised to look at another Avis location near by which I did and found a better deal. This Hilton Hotel site then called me the day of and said the vehicle was now available and I could come pick it up, but I refused it and proceeded to new reservation off of South Blvd. I will never try to use Hilton Hotel Avis again.

I’m so thankful for Taylor, she gave us amazing customer service that helped us out of a crisis. She is very kind and helpful. We had trouble keeping our rental reservation with another company because we have out of state licenses and wanted to pay with our bank card instead of a credit card. This resulted in us sitting at airport for several hours trying to figure things out. I called off site rental locations as well because they sometimes have different policies then at the airport. This is how I found Taylor, she suggested a few different ways we could try to secure our rental for our situation. One being to call our credit card company and ask for an increase to cover the rental, this is ultimately how we finally got to leave the airport in our rental. We hadn’t thought of this option and it took Taylor’s helpfulness to guide us there. I learned that Avis just needed to verify available funds on a credit card but on return we could still pay with our debit card. I called Taylor today to thank her and let her know everything worked out for our rental which made for a great trip. Thank you Taylor and thank you Avis!

Do not use the place . They don't care about customers. We got an email 1 hour before our pick up time that they have no cars. The solution? Go to the airport!!! They will not even guarantee a car atvthe airport. DO NOT RENT THERE. Veronica is superficially nice but does not care!! It's a shame Hilton even allows them to do business in their property

Best car rental experience in QueenCity, Charlotte. Kudos to Veronica, she was always very accommodating and friendly. Overall excellent service, central location, good selection of new and clean cars. Five stars!
