The service was the worst, the cashier answered me horribly when I asked if I could pay in cash, I asked why I hadn't seen the notice, she was super rude, haughty at worst, I don't know why she works here if she doesn't like what she does, She should be at home sleeping where no one asked her anything or bothered her.

Why do I have to ring my items myself. I come to a store that I don't work for I want to pay for items that are rung up by the employees. I don't make my customer or clients work. Please make customer service a priority.

So I have gone into this location several times and it is an absolute mess!!!!! Today’s experience definitely irritated me…. I went in because Dollar General is one of the stores I know I can normally find Mitchum Deodorant for my husband. Well upon entering the store I walked over to the area where the deodorant is and there were boxes sitting around but trust me that is nothing new with this location. There was no one over there working so I went over and started looking to see which one I would purchase for my husband because there was almost no inventory there in the shelf…. While is was looking because it is important to him to have an antiperspirant & deodorant in one. I hear someone say do you know what you want right off you can’t get anything over here I had this blocked off I was cleaning… I didn’t think they were talking to me because I didn’t see anything blocked off. I kept looking the employee then said excuse me do you know right off what you want because I’m cleaning and I had this blocked off. I said what.. she said it’s ok if you know right off what you need but I’m trying to work. I looked at her out of shock and said I’m not sure but I will need a few minutes as you don’t have Mitchum so I need to look. She said well I had this blocked off go ahead if you can hurry. I then went to the cash register… the person working the register wasn’t up there so the young lady that addressed me yelled for the young lady working the register. The young lady on register walked up and instead of going directly to help us she said “you paying with card” the gentleman said yes. She looked at me and said are you paying with card I said no (I had cash) she looked at me and said I’ll take you on #1. The gentleman thought she meant him so he walked up to the register she rolled her eyes and said I was talking to you…. I mean maybe Dollar General management doesn’t care about this but this store needs real attention from them as thi location is absolutely horrible when it comes to customer service. Went in again this morning I had cash to purchase my 2 items The cashier DEFINITELY was bothered as I stood there. She said “do you have a card.?” Quite rudely I said no ma’am I don’t. She rolled her eyes and came to help me. I wouldn’t recommend this location. I try not to go there unless I HAVE to.

Sadly the worst place... the one who just attended me says she is the manager well that's what she said when I asked to speak to the manager... if so, what kind of example can she give to her employees? I tried to find the manager and she followed me by repeating myself For the second time I was the manager, this lady, if she has that position, is definitely not a great example to follow. I have come here many times and it is the worst experience that led me to never return. I see that it is not my first complaint so I am not mistaken in the hand of the place. I was paying and he yelled at me to cancel and I asked him to please speak to me with respect and he changed to yell at me and tell me, are you not listening? . Too bad if it had happened to a person with a hearing disability, unprepared staff, I was with my little son who got scared. I do not recommend this place disrespectful staff .

I get it. Retail sucks, and some of the staff probably don’t wanna be there at all. That being said, that doesn’t give a free pass to be a bad person. The manager there was just being flabbergastingly rude right off the bat. Didn’t realize she was working on the self checkout behind the counter and when I went to scan my items and she just instantly went 0-10 berating me and giving me attitude. I’m typically a patient person and I don’t normally leave bad reviews if my experience isn’t great, but this was just unhinged. That lady has no business being in a job where she talks to people. If that’s who they make managers, I don’t even wanna meet the cashiers

One word Ghetto fabulous. Whoever the new management is needs to improve their hiring process. the employees are Ghetto with attitudes. This use to be a nice location but has gone downhill since the pandemic

Well it is going down hill. I use to love this place. After waiting in line Stephanie checks the lady out. Then looks at me says go to self checkout. Gets on her phone. Maybe if she would have asked me before I waited in line. Then goes to use her phone laughing. I don’t pay to go scan my own stuff while the people working want to check their Facebook while on my lunch break. Must be nice

Went in to do my 5/25$ today and they was in the middle of a shift change the bigger girl with long braids asked if I was paying card I said yes and told me to go to self check out I told her I rather not because self checkout never takes off all my digital coupons she went over scanned one of my items and told her I’ll just pay cash to get rung up over here & with a attitude she said “well I’m in the middle of a shift change “ and I told her I’ll wait patiently no issue with me . I only had 4 items if self checkout would actually take the coupons off wouldn’t of been a big deal but her attitude is not for customer service

The lady, who generally works the night shift, is rude and nasty for no reason. I was there to make a purchase, and my card didn’t work. And she tried to talk to me like I was a child, with belittlement. I would’ve argued back, but I didn’t see a point, because she would’ve probably just wanted to escalate the matter. She doesn’t need to be in anybody’s customer service role.
