Definitely NOT how this store looks on the inside or outside. Staff nice enough but definitely need to get organized inside and outside.

Little of bit of what you need and looking for, Very great prices, Need more of help to keep them selfs stocked up. Evertime I go here, always, always stock all in your way, and has the iles blocked. Not a good place to go for handicap people.

The store is dirty and the employees don't know what they're doing. Slow and rude... needs new management asap. Never seen a store this bad. It reminds me of a dollar tree or family dollar. I know Dollars Generals can do better. That's why I shop at them.

The digital coupons do not work as expected. Did a transaction for over $40 and the $5 for over $25 did not get taken off. Also the cashier was on a personal phone call during the transaction. It would be very appreciated if all cashier's notice that the customer is spending over $25 offer the digital coupons. This would insure that all customer are getting the most out of their shopping experience.

It was the worst. The cashier stated to me that this must be the only store you know. I told her it's the one near my home and that I'm up here because I have a granddaughter that need breakfast. She ask me where is her breakfast?. Really! The employee open the store a little pass 8:00. She the short fat girl. The very second time I saw her at you all store. She asked me for a birthday gift. Please do something her. I hate to hate people but she is the worst I've ever met.

I hadn't been in for several months, and from the outside, things looked the same- forgotten. Arriving in the parking lot at deep dusk, had I not grown up in the area, after the 1st chomp at Mt wheel & front axel by one of the myriad, cavernous potholes, I would have turned back around and gone less than 2 min away to Family Dollar . But I pressed on with my mission. Retractable fence by the door, poorly illuminated sidewalk immediately in front of the store, crumbling asphalt both underfoot and under cane as I made my way from the handicap parking area to the ramp up the sidewalk. The ramp was blocked by an indiscriminate, black SUV with tinted windows playing loud, indistinct music ..as I started up the ramp, the car pulled up the hill 2-3 ft...I actually thought they were being polite to give me access but less than 30 sec after walking in the store it became there was likely more motivation. A late 20-ish, med ht , brown haired, white woman carrying a laundry basket overflowing with items came towards me at the buggy corral. Thinking she was in danger of dropping her bundle, I started to step back to give her the first cart but she brushed by me so fast on her way out the door that I hadn't time to shut my open mouth and still my head which kept swiveling in the path she followed out the door and into ...you guessed it...the waiting SUV. It sped off across the deep shadows of parking lot towards Freedom (Dr). Im sorry that Young folks feel the need to steal when there are jobs out there and help for those in need. Also, incidents like this, give outsiders only part of the picture about daily life in this community...the earnest, hard-working people and businesses who make this a safer place to live than some with hoity toity addresses. But I digress, I was speaking of the Dollar General. If one ignores the outside, the inside is amazingly different. Shelves are arranged for better flow, isle are more accessible and things are neat. Most items appear to be well stocked ( holidays approaching, I dare you to find a store that can keep every sale item in stock for the whole sale period). Since my last visit, there seems to be more selection on the items they do carry. The cashier was obviously tired but still carried on like a trouper, even when dealing with a cranky cust who was overcharged ( I hope the company knows & acts appropriately). It's a real shame to have improved this much inside with All the work needed to do that and have it be missed by so many who used to frequent the store but no longer will .

This store is always trashed. The shelves are never stocked, things are always on the floor and employees are always on their cell phones when you're trying to check out. I come from retail management and if I had a store that was like this, i would fire the entire staff including the manager and start over. This is truly an embarrassment.
