Everyone here was perfectly pleasant. I don't know what all these negative reviews are about. The teller had to get some assistance to do what I needed, but that's ok.

I have banked with them for years. I closed my account today and I won't be back. When I first started my account with this location Customer Service was fantastic but now it is lackluster and really awful. If your staff is not happy then that trails down to how they treat their customers. I have seen many wonderful Tellers lthere leave for employment elsewhere and I hated to see them leave but happy they were finding better employment and better treatment elsewhere. Just as I did. treatment elsewhere

Customer service is very shaky... I use the drive through and bank teller has mask on unable to greet customer verbally. I do not know if she is smiling, frowning or snarling due to big mask and non verbal communication. It took approximately 15 minutes to cash two checks. I know the line of cars behind were not very happy. No explanation or apology for long and needless delay. No "Thank you for doing business at PNC" No "Go to Hell" Nothing... just that blank stare and ambiguous smile, frown, snarl??? Can't tell with her oversized Covid mask. Customer service is really becoming an antiquated idea.

I refinanced my car through PNC and the entire process was a nightmare. I have never seen such incompetence and then rudeness afterwards. I have been to the DMV twice now to try to fix it. I will be making another trip later this week. I hope you choose to go elsewhere so you do not have to take off 3 days from work to go back and forth from the branch, three trips to the DMV and about 10 phone calls to PNC and your old creditor to try and fix it. We worked with Cynthia and it was disappointing. We will be moving all of our accounts out of PNC.

I have to agree with the other reviews, service has declined at this location. I think it is great they have a greeter, but at the end of the day, I couldn't care less about that. I would much rather have more staff actually working. While I was in the branch, (11/22/19 1:30 -2:00), I heard a phone ringing off the hook, another customer leave in disgust after waiting 20 minutes, a "greeter", explain that he could not help another customer because needed to stand at the front door until another greeter who was helping my person handle a transaction she had never attempted before. All while they had customers waiting. Common sense would be to skip the learning opportunity, let the new person handle the transactions she knew how to handle and make sure everyone was actively helping customers instead of standing around. If not for the consistent, positive experiences at both branches in Gastonia and the branch in University City, I would have closed all of my accounts after today. PNC Corporate really needs to zero in on service at this location.

The customer service rep at 9:30 this morning was rude and rather mouthy. I have never heard of having to call in advance to make a withdrawal (have done it before without calling). Be consistent with enforcing your policies of holding peoples money hostage.

Not greeted in drive thru or acknowledged. Only one in drive thru. Took 7 minutes to make a cash deposit. Called Crystal the manager to share experience and she was very nonchalant about the experience along with heavy deep sighs. Very disappointed PNC. Will be moving business.

This PNC is by far the most disorganized I have ever been too. I was doing a loan, closed on it with the lawyer. Been waiting for the check. Called the bank and the man in charge of the paperwork had no idea we even closed on the loan. Like dealing with children. Next time I'm going to Wells Fargo. Rock hill location much more organized.

We switched our business and personal banking over to PNC because of how our accounts were handled with another bank over the years. What a phenomenal group of people. They have been the only bank that we have experienced that actual can get something done for you while still being a large bank. The employees at the Ballantyne branch are some of the nicest people you will come across in the business, and if they didn't have an answer to our question right then, they have always gone after it for me. Thank you guys!

While the appearance of this building would suggest a PNC bank location, the truth is much more bleak and pitiful. A more concise collection of people that have little to no idea what they are doing, let alone what they are doing there does not exist. Whether it be sign-in protocol, fee application or just general helpfulness, any positive aspect that might (MIGHT) exist within a PNC location is in totality, absent. Short and loaded responses to questions, bleak and dismal attitude, lacking emotion, sympathy or any desire to be assisting in any way shape or form has eluded the existing service-people at this bank. When I say existing, I mean it. Their presence within this building does little more than consume air that might be useful elsewhere.
