Every time I come here I just love this store. Shopping at Lowe's is always fun. It's dangerous in a way for me because I could spend a lot of money in that store and shop for way too many things that I probably really don't need, but would love to have. It's a handyman's dream world and a carpenter's best friend

I’m 73 years old and disabled. My house was built in 1997. The house has the original paint. I’m in the process of moving and had to cover the walls holes, cups with paint. I did not want to paint the entire house. On 9/23/22 I went to lowes in garner Nc with a piece of painted Sheetrock to get paint to match it. I was taken care of by a nice lady who ask Thomas G. to please help me. I said I only needed a little bit of paint just to cover the chips and holes on my wall. I have always used Lowe’s, here and in other states, for my home improvement needs. In the past I have needed the same type of service, matching the paint. I have been to many many of ur paint Depts to see if they could match the paint, as well as to other stores. They have never been able to match my paint, until now. Tomas G, not only did it fast, but matched this 28 year old paint to perfection and sold me a sampler which cost me much less. Others in the past have refused to do that and have forced me to spent a lot of money on useless amounts of paint. I’m going to try and take a pic so u can see. Please thank him for me. A very talented, nice, professional young man.

We ordered a dishwasher online from here. Delivery was great, except for our initial product was damaged and we couldn’t see it until later when we pulled the wrapping off. They tried to deliver a second dishwasher but the delivery guy let us know there was a dent in the door and didn’t drop it off, which I appreciated. The third dishwasher they sent out was delivered by Michael and James and my husband said they were awesome. The customer service reps were ok but I was transferred around a lot until I’d finally reach someone who could really help us (Shanae or Shasae was the last rep and she was awesome and very helpful). When I got the call from the warehouse rep (Casey or Cassie I believe was her name) to get more info and pictures I asked her to call my husband because I was driving and couldn’t email at the moment. She said she would call him but he never received or missed a call. After an hour, I called customer service back and they said she’d written in the notes the call was disconnected and if I called back that they needed pictures by the end of the day or they couldn’t do the exchange. I was very irritated that she didn’t even bother to call me back *if* she even called my husband in the first place to let me know she didn’t get in touch with him and that information about same day photos because we would have been stuck with a $900 dishwasher that was very damaged if I hadn’t called back. Because of the run around with customer service and the warehouse, I would not order another appliance from Lowes. I except more care and better customer service when I’m spending $1000s of dollars at your store

I have always loved my neighborhood Lowes. Usually i find what i need and their selections of plants and flowers are great. Unfortunately i went yesterday and asked for help in the paint department. A lady with short purple hair said she would go back and help me shortly. And she never came back. After about 10 minutes i asked another employee for help and she paged her. Again 10 more minutes went by and the purple haired lady was at the front chatting. I thought maybe she is on break. Which is totally fine, but just let me know and let your fellow coworkers know. The poor girl that was alone at the paint department was overwhelmed by herself. And it wasnt even her department. She was also working customer service. But her manners and Professionalism was on point. She helped me with what i needed and went above and beyond, even while she was super busy. Unlike purple hair, who ghosted both of us.

I've bought 2 mower deck belts for a 42' john deere zero turn mower for the store at 42 and the one in Smithfield. They swore they were the right belt.... get home and neither one fits...... I would highly consider buying stuff like that from some other store. A $80 belt is useless.. now have to go somewhere else to do business.... 2 days wasted so far..

Plenty of room for improvement at this location. Some of the staff are helpful. Others on their staff are idiots. It seems they would have employees in a department that would give you assistance not the deer in the headlights look. The paint manager joker is a supreme jacka$$.

Good Lowe's location. We've been here a couple times for some items. Their ferns did better than the Home Depot ferns we purchased the same weekend initially. We've typically been fans of Home Depot due to the knowledge the staff has, but we're still evaluating this Lowe's as we're new to this area and Lowe's is closer. The parking lot is a good size, although getting in to this location is a bit different. You need to enter in by the Cracker Barrel heading towards the hotel, and then take a left. The entrance that's on 42 is partially on the side/back of the Lowe's and makes getting to the front of the store a longer drive.

I am very disappointed in the performance of Lowes installation team. For years and hundreds of thousands of dollars, I’ve always relied on Lowes as my go to for home needs. For the reasons that they had much better customer service and I could rely on them. My wife was always able to manage our projects. I am a regional manager for a large automotive company and travel a lot, and I never worried about my wive taking care of these projects. I recently wanted to get a 10x12 deck refurbished with high end composite board. I paid $9,500 on February 17 for the job and didn’t mind the high price. Lowes ordered many wrong pieces throughout the process and failed to make it right. As you can see from the photos, it’s not complete and has been done with extremely poor workmanship. They have made a total mess, over ordered the lumber and composite board, and have ordered the wrong lights and railing. They have also left a large amount of excess lumber sitting in my driveway blocking drive up access. I attempted to contact the Brent Phetzsc who sold me the job and has not returned the call. Currently my wife is trying to work with the DM of installation and we are not getting anywhere.
