Town and county uhaul and storage was recently purchased by new company and i was just there redoing paperwork and New Ownera and ataff amazing.

1. None of the items ordered were in the truck 2. The "condition" pictures of the truck were clearly from when they originally acquired it and showed none of the damage. Spent 40 min going around documenting the damage on the truck 3. The app is terrible just use your phone browser. It won't accept any of the photos you attempt to take for it 4. The chart for estimated amount of fuel was way off resulting in me giving them 25 bucks worth of free gas. Overall a terrible location. Never use them.

It would be very easy for any UHaul or Storage facility to simply hand me the keys and be done with me. But it is really important that I share that THIS particular location has wonderful customer service. Autumn was so kind to me in my first two phone calls that I actually looked forward to meeting her in person. And I’m so glad I did! Autumn truly cared about not just my experience, but me as a person. She is warm, friendly and attentive. It isn’t often these days that we have the chance to write about stellar human contact, but it is important that I share that Autumn, and everyone else here, has been fantastic. Good people, all of them!

Autumn is the epitome of what customer service should be. Having dealt with other U-Haul stores in the area, and their complete and total lack of respect shown to customers, I would highly recommend that U-Haul allows Autumn to train them on how to provide exceptional customer service. Next time I need a U-Haul, I’ll only call Autumn.

I know it’s quarantine and all but there’s still a way to do customer service. I use U-Haul often for business purposes and we always do cash deposit no problems. The policy has now for some reason changed with no information about that while booking with them, on their website, or even outside on the big sign that takes up the whole main window. I’m sure you could’ve found a spot to put a sign that says not accepting cash deposits. I further asked an employee today about why the policy changed and the associate said “I could care less about why that’s just how the policy is”. I had to called U-Haul corporate to get my reservation switched to a different U-Haul cause they also couldn’t do that. The lady I talked to at corporate had never heard of anyone stopping using cash. Even dealers with U-Haul. There are like 3 other U-Hauls in the area that I’ve used. Use those ones. Especially the one on Statesville. Those ladies are nice!

Great experience. Everything is basically automated if you book online. Truck is waiting for you and you get instructions how to obtain keys online, no personal contact needed which is good for the current times

My pickup went fine. The cargo trailer was fine. My return was very frustrating and disappointing. The staff was nearly an hour later than advertised opening time. When they arrived, a line had formed. The two people ahead of me were served. The person behind me and I were asked where we picking up or dropping off. I said I was dropping and the person who came after me said he needed a rental. The young girl then proceeded to process the person who came after me with no explanation to me and no apology for making me wait while serving the other person. I didn't feel like making a big issue this morning and I don't want to believe my treatment today had anything to do with the fact I am African American. So hopefully it was simply a case of poor customer service and disregard for my place in the cue
