I had a flat tire the evening before going out of town. I called 30 mins before they closed. They allowed me to have my car towed to their location and replaced all my tires while I was out of town. It was ready to be picked up when I returned several days later. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thank you.

Late Friday afternoon Sept 2nd, the start of the Labor Day weekend I cut a sidewalk on my truck tire. I needed my truck to tow my boat for the weekend. All I had was a temporary doughnut spare. I called around and everybody said late next week or even the following week before they could get me in. By chance I called Discount Tire in Garner. They had the tire in stock, just drop it off and I can pick it up Saturday morning. They were 30 minutes from my house. So off to Discount Tire I went on my spare. When I arrived at 5:55 (the sign says close at 6:00). I met DAKOTA, I told her I drove 30 minutes and I’ll come back tomorrow. She said “let me see if someone can mount and balance it real quick” This is where DION stepped in and mounted and balanced the tire in about 10 minutes. After thanking them both so much while they were loading the tire in my truck DION noticed the doughnut spare I was driving on and said “hey just pull up and we’ll bolt that on real quick” I said thanks but you’ve done enough. He insisted that it will only take a minute and he switched it out for me. I cannot say enough about DAKOTA and DION’s attention to customer service. I also mentioned to DAKOTA I was a Veteran and that I did find a better price elsewhere and she matched that price. Something else I noticed while waiting was that all the techs on the shop floor, and the managers were smiling, laughing and enjoying there music playing in the shop. The team at the Garner NC Discount Tire are superb. Mr. Leach was knowledgeable about what tires would work for my vehicle and also be best for me personally. The professionalism he displayed was stellar and is an example to others. Took my car here because a tire was leaking air due to a nail in the treads. They were able to repair the tire for FREE in less than an hour. Was very impressed with the service and professionalism. Will definitely return when I need new tires!

Superior Customer Service is when you walk into a business and the employee speaks to you in a tone that is welcoming. It's even better when the employee wants to assist you and make sure that your needs are taken care of.. That is the experience i received from Dakota! She took me to the car and pointed out the problem and had me to run my hands on the tire so that I could identify the problem. She didn't stop there! She wanted to help! She was concerned! I wish in my heart that there were more people in the world like you! Thank you so much for your awesome customer service skills!!

I've bought tires from this location several times. I have also had them rotate my tires too. They have always been quick to complete the work and get my vehicle back to me. The staff are polite and responsive. I would recommend checking out this location the next time you need tires. They often have sales, so I recommend timing your tire purchases around major holidays. You can typically get 10% off from them and also combine that with a rebate from the manufacturer.

Update October 2020: My brand new Continentals got a screw in one of the tires and I stopped by without an appointment. They had it fixed for free in 15 minutes. Update August 2020: Bought my third set of tires from Discount, plus rims. Saved about $65 ordering here instead of online. Everything was mounted and ready to go within 40 minutes. Love Discount Tire! Update January 2020: The tires I bought only lasted 40K out of the 70K warranty and they gave me a credit back without even having to ask about it for a second! When installing the replacements, I brought in my car 45 minutes before the 9:00 appointment and they had it done 25 minutes later, and 15 minutes before my appointment even started!! I’ve regularly came in for free rotations and they’re always the nicest group of people ever. Any woman out there knows that car stuff can be a terrible experience but I’ve never once felt judged for not knowing much about cars and tires and they’re always happy to explain things, and give me time to think things over. I love this place. Original March 2018: Awesome experience! I bought tires online, and was called by someone that actually worked in the store to tell me, “Hey, these tires are about to be discontinued and won’t be covered under the warranty if they blow our next year.” After some back and forth, I was in the shop the next day with the newer model Pirellis, my discount still applied, and some great customer service all around. I was able to walk in and drop off my keys, then come back later to pick up my keys and go on my way. No twiddling my thumbs, which seems to be the standard with car repairs.
