You know how you can read some reviews and just tell that the people are "Karens" who probably cause most of their own problems? I think there are a lot of those types on here. I'm going to praise BoK highly, but i too have experienced very long, indefensible wait times in the drive-through. BoK; you need to concentrate on that. That being said; YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER BANK. I'm sixty, and I know stuff. I have no affiliation beyond putting money in and taking money out. Of all the many banks I have tried over the years, this is the only one that never charged me foo-foo fees for nefarious profit. The way they treat me would make you think I'm a great customer instead of a piddly hundredaire. Love that BoK...

I don't recommend the app or opening a bank account with Bank Of Oklahoma. They will hold your funds for over a week on your first deposit, so if you have bills to pay be prepaid to behind or evicted because they will not lift the hold for any reason. They do not care about their customers. I recommend using something along the lines of Chime. For the first deposit I had instant access to the funds. Don't let their mobile check deposit and other advertised benefits fool you into their trap. I have been a law enforcement officer in the state of Oklahoma for 9 years. I proudly served and protected the citizens of a small town. Unfortunately being a small town I do not have access to direct deposit. I decided to try Bank Of Oklahoma and instantly regretted it. They flat out lied to me and told me they could have the hold releases on an earlier date and when I called again the hold period had increased. I don't do my job for the money but it puts a roof over my head that I could now possibly lose due to this Bank's ridiculous hold procedure that they claim is supposed to help me.

The end of the day it’s still not finished and are told we’d have to hang in until tomorrow. Not it’s been over 24 hours and I can’t even get ahold of the bank AT ALL! We set specific times and days to close the deal because it worked into our schedule, but now the bank is taking so long, and is so hard to get ahold of, we have to make arrangements and move things around just to wait around for an answer. I’m going to have to go out of my way and drive to the bank to talk to someone.
