The evening after I had my oil changed and tires rotated, I drove my car on the highway. My alignment was so bad I could barely drive. The employees at Firestone had noted this as an issue, but I couldn’t afford to fix it until next month. Low and behold, after I refused the service my alignment was significantly worse on the highway. It’s almost as if it had been made worse on purpose to encourage me to get the alignment done sooner. Service: Tires

Amanda and her staff are the most professional and competent auto shop I have ever used. Been going there 15 years...moved away and still drive the extra 20 minutes to get to her shop. Recommend to everyone...taken very good care of all 4 of my family's cars over the years. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Tires, Exhaust, Air conditioning, Oil change, Brake service & repair, Battery, Electrical, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Air & cabin filter replacement

Unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star review for my oil change. I went to this Firestone on 9/19/2022 for a simple oil change that has turned into a nightmare. The tech drained my transmission fluid, double filled the engine oil and sent me on my way. There was a MAJOR issue that I could tell right away. Returned car and they realized what happened. They put it back together as best as possible and sent me on my way again. I opened a claim with corporate that evening and had the car towed to the Subaru dealer in the AM. The transmission is fried, need to be replaced and will cost upwards of $10,000. Corporate claims is handling it and covering all expenses. My issue now is that the new transmission warranty is less than what my original power train warranty was but they are unwilling to offer an extended warranty. Service: Oil change

My car had been leaking coolant so I needed to get it looked at. This is in a super convenient location because I live nearby so I was able to drive it over and then walk back to my place. They called me to let me know what they found, along with other things that I can have done too, and the estimated cost of it all. Only strange thing is they recommended I change my wiper blades due to streaking even though I had just replaced them 3 weeks prior. Overall though I was satisfied with the service done and will definitely consider coming back in the future.

Staff was very kind. They were able to complete a 4-wheel alignment with minimum notice. Lifesaver as we are from out of town. I paid for the lifetime alignment since this is my daughter's car. The only downside was the shop supplies charge. No oil, no rags. So what exactly is the shop supply used?

The mgmt. and service techs at our local Firestone are FANTASTIC! I called in to ask if they could help me reattach the rubber curb guard that hangs below the front bumper and warns you if you are approaching a high curb as you park. The clips holding this guard in place had broken off and the rubber guard was hanging down below the bumper. The response was to bring in my car and they would see what they could do. I drove over and handed them my keys. Fifteen minutes later they hand back my keys. The guard had been screwed back into place with self tapping screws. It was perfect in both function and appearance. My cost —- NOTHING! Service: Body & Trim

One word.....INCOMPETENT! Took my vehicle in for an alignment and this is how they returned it. When I spoke to the service advisor (Amanda) about it she proceeded to tell me that they focused their attention on the front end of the vehicle not the rear for the alignment. No concern that the control arm was detached from the frame of the vehicle. As certified mechanics stating they did a "courtesy 12-point inspection" they should have noticed the busted control arm.

So grateful for this location! My husband was turned away from the location in Rock Hill(don’t even waste your time at the Rock Hill location) at 3:30 in the afternoon with a nail in his tire and was basically told he was SOL… we are two hours away from home with two small children, towing a camper!!! The nice people at this location were more than willing to help and had his tire replaced and he was on the way in an hour and a half. Five stars, excellent service!!!

There’s too much history to even begin with where it all started, but I’ve stuck it out for so long because Firestone holds so many warranties on our cars. There’ve been other complaints, mostly due to the Rock Hill, SC store, so I travel a little further to try and get a better experience. The Fort Mill shop has been better (doesn’t take much more than a pulse to be better than Rock Hill), but they sure goofed this weekend. This past weekend just proves how little communication and/or pride there is in these shops. Let’s start with the previous trip; a normal oil change, rotate, and alignment. The Service Managers calls to ask where I had my wheels put on because they’d left (2) of the centric rings out. I said ‘That’s funny because Firestone is the only shop that’s taken my wheels on and off for the past few years.’ No big deal, as these don’t really affect how the truck handles. Amanda couldn’t get the parts soon enough, so I told her I’d order them and be refunded on the next trip. This weekend (March 5) I needed another service. As typical, I drop my truck off mid-afternoon on Saturday to pick up Sunday around lunch time. Oil change, rotate, alignment, and install a new battery. All normal until I pick my truck up. The Service Manager had no information or knowledge of the centric rings. There was some miscommunication amongst the staff, and they were installed, but I was take aback when the Service Manager just looked mindless at the parts and paperwork. There were no notes or anything with the paperwork noting rings needed to be or were installed. Poor communication. What would one expect a technician to learn at Oil Change 101 class? Perhaps resetting the oil light? With these Chevys, all you have to do is turn the ignition key on and press the accelerator 5 times. Easy, but I was left with a 29% reading still shown on my dash! Maybe they’re instructed to provide a new sticker on the windshield with the next oil change noted? Nope, not this time; same ole sticker from before. Maybe they’re advised to leave a vehicle cleaner than when it came in? Ha! I had a big ole oily smudge on my driver’s side! But wait! There’s more! Isn’t there a battery back up or some device that can be plugged into a vehicle when a battery’s changed so settings aren’t lost? Well low and behold, I’ve got a ‘Connections Lost’ error screen on my dash that I cannot get to go away. Clock was off, setting changed, error message, and a loose cover on my battery. I really cannot believe Amanda’s shop messed up so many difference ways. Especially when they know who I am. I try to be as accommodating as possible and allow plenty of time to not be rushed. Is it really so much to ask for my truck to be in the same, or maybe even better shape, when I pick it up? Now, it’s Tuesday, Amanda’s boss hasn’t picked up his phone and I’ve got to schedule an appointment with the dealership to resolve the error message that’s displayed on my dash.
