The tax preparer was nice but the fees charged were outrageous if you can do them yourself, or get someone to do them do it I can not believe how much they charge it is outrageous and I am not a happy camper outrageous!!!

We are repeat customers of this location. We have never had any issues getting our taxes done here. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. We have had several different tax preparers there who we trust completely. They do not hesitate to ask each other for guidance in making sure the tax form is being done correctly. They make the entire process about as painless as it could be. We appreciate all of them. We refer them to our friends who may need tax help also.

If I could give Bill 5 stars I would. But Liberty tax its self, I don't even want to give one star. I usually do my taxes by myself but I had some questions and concerns this year so I went to liberty tax. Bill was really nice and helped me understand what i needed to know. He even showed me what I needed to correct on my W2 for my job. The things that i'm upset about is the cost. 500.00!!!!! really!!!! for 20 minutes of time. I'm a single mother you would think that simple tax return would be maybe $250.00 but nothing I could do because they already filed my taxes. Also I have called several times and asked if I could pick up my paper work as I need it for my sons social security. He has severe Autism and ADHD and I need to turn my tax return paper work into Social Security no later then 2/9/21. If I do not turn it in. My sons SSI stops. His SSI isn't much but it helps with his meds and off sets money for the many days I can't work due to him not being able to go to school for so many reasons. Also if it stops it is so hard to get SSI started back up again, and it takes 60 days sometimes. They keep saying it isn't ready and there is a problem with my bank. I have used tax slayer for 11 years and have never had a problem I was even able to print out my paper work right away. I have no idea if the IRS has received my federal return or if the state received my state return. Every time I call and ask I get the same answer please call back tomorrow. Well tomorrow has come several times. I filed my taxes on 1/27/22 it is 2/7/22 and I still know nothing. I can't even get my refund amount because no one knows how much it is. i want to know what the problem is with my bank account that Liberty Tax is having that I have never had with my tax return with tax slayer using direct deposit. It is the same account that my stimulus payments went in. So the IRS knows its my account. I trusted Liberty tax to do my taxes and know i'm scared that I made a horrible choice. I have never had a problem with my simple tax return. It the same return with both of my kids. I don't do anything extra. I should of just done the taxes myself. All I want is answers please. I want to know that my taxes have been accepted by the IRS and state. Also I would like to know that the money is going to go into my checking account. I would also like my paper work. I really don't think that is to much to ask. Can some one please assist me. Thank you!!! Signed Struggling single mother of 2 who depends on her return to get caught up on bills.

Liberty Tax Service has been our go to tax service team for over 12 years. They are professional, friendly, and know their stuff! Their team always has a smile on their faces, willing to help, and answer all the many questions we have. The best part every year they always send us a checklist to ensure we have all the items that we need to file our taxes. It is a huge help! I would highly recommend them to everyone. They have two locations for easy convenience one in Carolina Forest and the other in Surfside Beach.

I have done my taxes here at liberty tax in Carolina forest many times and their staff is always very helpful, they helped me understand all the crazy tax info and always got me the most money back. Definitely highly recommended out of all the places to do your taxes in the area.
