Please heed my advice and don’t overlook some of the negative reviews like I did because of their decent overall rating. This is my 3rd long distance move, and BY FAR the worst I’ve had. Apparently, no one in this company communicates with anyone else. No one told them how much space I needed and they didn’t have room on the truck. They came back and still didn’t have room or a correct estimate even after having eyes on everything. We were told several different things by different people within the company. They tried to charge us an additional $500 to Saran Wrap a few pieces. I went to lowes and spent $60 and did it myself. They showed up without even calling first and then we made it very clear that our delivery couldn’t be made until Sep 10 because we wouldn’t be there yet. But they called us on the 8th saying they were ready to deliver. Seriously NO communication. Got it delivered. Was earlier than we asked but that’s okay. Contracted out movers were kind, but my goodness this company has awful communication. Tried calling customer service sooooo many times and they keep telling me a supervisor will call me back and no one has ever contacted me.

Monarch did a fantastic job on our recent move! We had multiple pickups and set ups and they did it all very seamlessly and efficiently. They were thoughtful and meticulous with the assembly and placement of all the furniture. I can say without question they are the best movers we have used. I highly recommend them!

Several lost large furniture items, other furniture was damaged. Still trying to get them to pay for a claim after 2 weeks. Never answer their phone, and rarely respond to emails. Was assigned them through a broker who purposely way underestimated to give me a “too good to be true quote”, beware of brokers. Monarch movers were friendly and professional. Put stuff in storage and delivered timely. My only complain was the damaged and lost items were never paid for. I tried submitting a claim several times but they continue to ghost me. I paid a a ton of money for them to move, store, and deliver, but they lost the most expensive furniture piece 😭😡. Life lesson: pay for help to load and unload, then drive the moving truck yourself (or find a friend). You’ll save thousands of dollars, have your stuff when you need it, and have less damaged and lost things. Learn from my mistakes. Avoid brokers and full service moving companies.

I cannot begin to complain enough. My mother and I hired this company through a broker to pack and move my brother's belongings after the unexpected loss of my brother. We tipped the packers well and went through most items to make their job easier. They stole the most important, sentimental items. Changed the price constantly. Refused to take phone calls. During such a tragic event, they only made things worse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We had a great move and I highly recommend Monarch Van Lines. They were incredible! They were fast, efficient, friendly, and cautious. They arrived right on time and got right down to work. They were incredibly hard working and really made our LIVES EASIER. I was so impressed by how quickly they were able to get everything in, and no damaged or broken items. I would definitely trust them again!

Super Pro, courteous, and efficient! A REAL PLEASURE to work with, and to trust with my belongings and move. They did a top job in loading my house from storage to their moving vans; and then in off-loading into my home. Great, careful work. They were excellent in scheduling everything.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR MOVE WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT! They would not take my calls. Delivered my damaged things 2 weeks AFTER I moved in even though they picked up my things a month in advance! Continued to up charge me from a $3400 quote to 10K!! I even have items that are missing! Do not use them

DO NOT USE MONARCH VAN LINES!! I moved from Austin, TX to Atlanta, GA. The main company, American National Movers, was very professional and transparent about *their* fees. However, they subcontracted locally to Monarch Van Lines and that's when things went bad. The driver called me in the morning 2.5 weeks after I moved, to tell me that he was delivering my items that evening. I was out of town for a mandatory workshop for my job and didn't know anyone, since I was new there. Plus, it would have been nice to have time to get the balance due. I tried calling the main office but no one ever answered--even American National Movers couldn't get someone on the line. The driver doesn't have any authority and I am now scrambling to try and figure out what to do. If they have to go to their end destination and come back, that's an additional week or so and more money (let's not get into all of their nickle-and-dime fees. I will never use this company again and suggest that no one else does as well.

They are very friendly while loading, customer service after loaded was non existent. Could never reach anyone. Took almost 3 weeks to get my items. Three of my boxes in the truck were NOT stickered and they had to ask me if they were mine. Two boxes had wrong color sticker, I gave them back to them. About $400 in broken items and now that I’m unboxed I discover my crockpot is not here, so whoever gets my kitchen box - MERRY CHRISTMAS! It’s a stir one and it’s great for chili! Hopefully it’s got some other cool things for you! Included a photo of my first box unloaded from the truck and a couple more.

I used Monarch Van Lines in June of 2020 to move across several states. While the movers themselves were courteous and kind, I did not have a satisfactory experience. The movers did a great job of safely packing my furniture and loading it in the van at the origin site. Upon arrival however, they did not bring my TV nor a large painting they had packed. In calling their central office, there was very little helped provided in trying to locate the items. The customer service agent did not seem concerned with helping find or replace my things. Additionally, when my things were dropped off at my new home, they attempted to drop off two boxes/bags that did not belong to me. In general, these instances make me think that they regularly misplace their customers' items. The price of this moving company was great, especially as compared to other moving companies. However, I would not use them again due to the poor service I received.
