Lakewood staff helped me out a lot. Seems like they are pretty honest mechanics which is hard to find. Brad helped me out took some time to show me what was wrong and then fixed it. Great mechanic shop

Been coming for years since the original owner Mr. Mike. Then came Jay and Moe. Jay is a very honest guy. Very matter of fact. The workers are great and always have done great work on my vehicles. But Moe is the biggest liar always shrugs his shoulders like he knows nothing. He changes prices at the very end. I only continue to come because no matter the price I know jay will be honest and he he will break down everything so you'll understand. Services: Tire rotations, Transmission repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Engine repair, Transmission, Oil change, Brake service & repair

Went for transmission work and I still don't have a car after taking my car back twice in a month. I didn't have quality service very slow service and and poor work. Their service has cost me going and coming, quoted one price and every single time the price always increased and they don't believe in giving paperwork even when you ask. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I serviced my car for a 3,000 Road Trip to get oil change, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and Brake pads replaced. However, During my road trip, I noticed white smoke from my rear and pulled over to look at it. Under my car, There was oil all over the bottom of my car. I was in the middle of nowhere and had to get my car towed 30 miles to a town. When I dropped it off at the shop, the mechanic noticed the transmission plug was missing!!! so, whoever worked on my car at Lakewood Automotive either didn't put the plug back on properly or didn't even bother to put the plug back on!!! I called and asked for a reimbursement, they said they will help me out. However, when I came in they'll only refund the transmission fluid they put in. Not the towing, nor the service I had to take it in. I asked if they'll reimburse for the service where I had to get it towed and they said they either refund the transmission fluid or I get nothing. The owner wasn't there and told me to call the next day. When I called the next day, they said the owner wasn't around. They're not playing nice. So there's my story. If you're planning a road trip and want professional auto service go to Belmont Garage. Stop giving this shop your money!!! Services: Brakes, Transmission, Oil change, Air conditioning

I have to say these guys were GREAT. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not procrastinate. As soon as my vehicle was towed in, they immediately began work on it and was completed in under 90 minutes! They replaced my front struts on my Toyota. I will go back to them again and recommend them to everyone. Thanks Mike 😃 It was your voice that brought me in and the quality of work performed that will have me return.
