13 Best auto repair shop in Dallas, Texas (TX) 2024

My sister recommended this place to me because she took a car here and they told her that she didn’t need nearly as much work done as the last mechanic she visited quoted her. I’m always worried about getting ripped off, so I came here, because my sister said they were honest. I had AAA tow my car in because it wouldn’t start and twice the driver was unable to jump it. I left my car with Ross & Greenville on a busy Friday afternoon, and within two hours they called me to tell me that they were able to jump it after all and that I could come pick it up. I was super happy because I assumed the the starter or spark plug needed replacing. When I got there and took my card out to pay, Jacob or Jason at the counter told me there was no fee because all they did was charge my battery. I was shocked, my car was there taking up space and time for over 2 hours on a busy day. But he insisted. So, its very safe to say that I will be returning to this shop for ALL of my automotive needs for as long as I’m in Dallas. They’re friendly, fast, and most importantly, they’re incredibly honest. I had a really good experience working with BMW of Dallas. I did a little shopping on their website when I reserved a vehicle. My appointment went well but I always like to take 48-hours to think on it. And..I was shopping elsewhere. I found another vehicle at another place but my son and I remembered the hospitality and friendly assistance at BMW of Dallas. So I decided to come back and purchase here. I contacted Moe Friday about pricing to get my starter replaced on my car. I wasn’t expecting to get it fixed just was gathering information since I was at work. He gave me the price and said he could come and pick my car up since I was at work. So he came and got my car and I got my car back a few hours later and everything has been working good. Great price, fast and courteous. Will definitely be going back and my family will be going to him as well. Thank you so much! ~Elizabeth

Been coming for years since the original owner Mr. Mike. Then came Jay and Moe. Jay is a very honest guy. Very matter of fact. The workers are great and always have done great work on my vehicles. But Moe is the biggest liar always shrugs his shoulders like he knows nothing. He changes prices at the very end. I only continue to come because no matter the price I know jay will be honest and he he will break down everything so you'll understand. I went in for an oil change. Turned out, my oil was all over the engine. They got it cleaned up, degreased, oil filled, fluids topped, air in tires, etc. All for an excellent price. Also Brian provided exceptional service by going above and beyond. ~Damonica

I took my vehicle in to have a diagnostic test done because of a check engine soon light. I was informed of the result and permitted the repair. I picked my vehicle up feeling relieved that the problem was resolved. However, 3 DAYS LATER, the check engine light reappeared. I called the shop back the next business day to inform them. Exactly 1 week later, I took my car back to this shop to have it tested again. I was told it now had 2 new codes, my alternator and battery. I expressed my frustration. How was this not discovered a week ago after the first diagnostic test?! I was told, “ Sometimes it happens like that”. I have never had a car problem reappear 3 days later after a repair!! I called a certified mechanic that I know. He told me to bring my car and he would test the alternator and battery. He tested it the same day I picked my car up from this shop. He found that there was nothing wrong with my alternator or battery. I was so upset. I’ve dealt with so many shady mechanics. I feel that they take advantage of the ignorant, especially women. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SHOP! It’s unfortunate because of the convenience to my residence, but I’ll drive further and be inconvenienced to find a business that deals with integrity! Went for an oil change and transmission oil change 😂 they changed the oil and didn’t put the mileage sticker 😂 that wasn’t the bad part tho, they didn’t change my transmission oil at all and that’s the main thing I wanted done! And now there all on lunch brake at 4:00 pm 😂 Service: Oil change ~RC
