8 Best auto parts store in Dallas, Texas (TX) 2024

I had a really good experience working with BMW of Dallas. I did a little shopping on their website when I reserved a vehicle. My appointment went well but I always like to take 48-hours to think on it. And..I was shopping elsewhere. I found another vehicle at another place but my son and I remembered the hospitality and friendly assistance at BMW of Dallas. So I decided to come back and purchase here. I’m grateful for that decision and I love my BMW X 3!! Great location and great staff! ~Shelene

Put some tires on... 275/55/R20. I thought they were too small on my truck. Without a negative hint of anything, they allowed me to pay the difference of a larger tire. I suggest prepaying or check-in online prior to arrival so it easy much of the waiting up! Thanks to mgrs and staff for being awesome. I wasn't surprised when I figured I would give em a good review. The customer service at TXD 22 can use some work. I completely understand your policy to not service vehicles with free floating spacers as Matthew, the assistant manager, explained it to me. He recommended towing the vehicle somewhere or reinstalling the wheel without the spacer if it were to be serviced. The wheel would contact the brake caliper without the spacer, so I wasn't able to go that route. I respected that by offering to remove the wheel myself and having the tire serviced as a carry in. I even asked if there was a waiver I could sign to release liability to possibly have it serviced. The assistant manager agreed to do it as a carry in as I needed it to be done to get to work. What bothered me was that it was completely okay to jack up a trailer with a boat on it to service two of the trailer's tires, while the techs slid under the trailer to mount the spare. I don't see how one is more of a safety issue than the other, but this has completely turned me away from having anything done at Discount Tire. I will say, and compliment, that they changed the tire quickly and by the expected time they quoted me. One of their techs also loaned me his torque wrench to make sure that my lug nuts were at the correct torque spec. I do appreciate that aspect. ~Jose

How great are the staff on Buckner!!! Mo took great care of me at the counter, and Susana quickly got my core refund processed. But it was Jason who really drove this to 5 stars. He installed my battery quickly, then went the extra mile to check my alternator. The whole time he was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. I felt bad I didn't have cash to tip him, so I think he should get a raise! Hire more people like Jason for sure! ~Janice

Went to this location because they had an alternator in stock that I needed. Got there and turned out it wasn’t the right one, I asked them to call the “ask an expert” phone line that they still have and they refused! Just kept giving me the run around with different employees and manager. Even witnessed a cashier while in the middle of checking someone out take a personal phone call and leave the line of customers unattended. Will definitely not go back to this location. Higher management needs to get their store in order. ~Brandon

The customer service is great they can use some detail cleaning in there but other than that this is great place employees are helpful and they have a great prices ~cynthia

I stopped in to purchase windshield wipers. I have always had someone to put them on, but I wanted to try myself. Abbey, the sales associate showed me which wipers I needed (I didn't know they came in 2 different sizes, lol) and he even put them on for me!! He really made my visit an awesome experience! I will definitely visit this location again especially if he's there. ~Jchell

Went for an oil change and transmission oil change 😂 they changed the oil and didn’t put the mileage sticker 😂 that wasn’t the bad part tho, they didn’t change my transmission oil at all and that’s the main thing I wanted done! And now there all on lunch brake at 4:00 pm 😂 Service: Oil change ~RC
