Great dinner place . Was packed on a friday at 7 and we had to wait for an hour but we were near the bar so that helped🍸🥃 Tried several of the drinks and all were great Nachos and tacos had good flavor and portion size. We were seated outside on the patio and it was hot but sun was going down so cooled off a bit Overall was a nice experience. Server was very nice and quick with orders with great recommendation for dessert. The sopapilla cheesecake delicious. Will have to come back and see if we can sit inside

If you’re looking for fantastic Mexican food this is the place to be. We are from out of town and Las Palmas was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Gabriel’s was our server, twice, and he totally hit it out of the park. He is absolutely a valuable asset to Las Palmas.

Great food and cocktails at a reasonable price. This plate absolutely defeated me, first time I couldn't finish in a while. Quantity of food was great but ultimately it was all a bit too heavy.

I met a friend for lunch this week and one of his suggestions was Las Palmas. He mentioned that the interiors was great, his words "think Lucille Ball 1950s". That seems pretty accurate. I was killing some time so got there around 1:30, parking is around back and there was ample spaces. Walking into the restaurant it took some time for my eyes to adjust because it is very dark and Moody inside. I really liked the ambiance! It has a very grand masculine vibe. Think Mad Men. The bar is well appointed and has ample seating, I sat at the bar and had a mimosa and some chips while I waited for my friend. The chips were served with two different salsas, both have a very good flavor. When my friend arrived we moved to a booth, our server was very friendly and informative and to great care of us. And chatting about the history of the location it had only been Las Palmas for 3 years, from the interiors it feels like this place has been around forever. I think it's been several other reiterations of restaurants in the past. We ordered queso which was good, we probably could have done with a cup because the bowl was pretty substantial. I ordered the seafood enchiladas that came with rice and beans. It was really delicious, the sauce was delectable and there were really scrumptious pieces of seafood throughout the enchilada. They also had a nice outdoor area as well, I will definitely be back for some patio dining soon. My friend mentioned they have a really nice private dining area upstairs and usually have a really good happy hour crowd. He raves about their margaritas. Great experience, highly recommend Las Palmas for some tasty Tex Mex. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Looking for a pet friendly patio with great Mex food options? Well look no more! Las Palmas not only has a great location but also very good food. Service was good but slow! We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and we were able to enjoy it with our fur baby!

It's always a good sign when there is a line of people waiting outside. On our way Resy didn't have any reservations so I setup a notification to place myself on the notify list on Resy since they were booked but once we put our name down in person it only took about 20 min to get a table on a Sat at 6pm. --COCKTAILS $15 Tequila Martini - super weird Tequila Old Fashioned - super delicious --APPETIZER GUACAMOLE $10 Avocado, Cilantro, Jalapeño, Onion, Garlic We requested if they could remove the raw onion or have it to the side and not mixed in but they said it was pre-mixed in which is fine, but then when the Guac showed up it was garnished with a LOT of onions so we asked that we get a new one without the onions on top. 20 minutes went by and no guacamole and we were told by a woman and our server that it would be out soon. *I thought the chips and guacamole were exceptional even though it arrived with our entrees, we would have preferred eating that beforehand --ENTREES SEAFOOD ENCHILADAS $18 Shrimp, Crab, Crawfish, Tomato, Guapllo, Asadero, Sour Cream Sance, Chive *So these are the best enchiladas I've ever had, lots of big chunks of seafood, great creamy sauce and I've never been a big rice and beans person but something about the texture of these two won me over. "DELUXE" DINNER PLATE $21 Pork Tamales, Chili Con Carne, Sour Cream Pactlada. Picadillo Beet Crismi Taco. Bean & Cheese Burrito. Retried Beans & Rice *Big combination platter with lots of different textures, the combo was so big it had to be served on 2 plates --SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE Our server was friendly but not very attentive. The interior was very dark but the outside patio area seating was nice and bright. I definitely would come back again with a reservation and preference of eating outside.

Pretty decent fajita. Nothing particular special about the flavor. However the presentation was nice. My service was good and attentive. The ambience is what sets this place apart. Come here for the vibe and people. Is this great food? Well your results may vary. But definitely a place to check out.

Recovering from from a problem and issue should always garner great praise and in this case it is given. After the issues we had the prior night with our call ahead and then arrival snafu. I made sure to both book a reservation and then reconfirm it. When we arrived early I anticipated that our table may not be ready and when we checked with the hostess stand it was not. So we proceeded the bar and had a wonderful cocktail. I recommend trying one of their many craft made cocktails that they have available. Now being to the restaurant several times I've yet to order one that I am not extremely pleased with sipping. By the time we were 3/4 of the way through our cocktail, we received a text from the hostess stand that our table was ready and we sat for dinner. The wait staff was prompt, courteous. Knowledgeable and extremely attentive. To the timing of the food of both appetizers and the meal were well done. The flavors or as I remember them 6 months ago, being wonderful, when I was last here. We look forward to coming back many many times.

The salsa Verde is the best I've ever had. It's roasted tomatillo with cilantro, lime, garlic and some spiciness. It has an intense flavor that is addictive and I would come here just to eat that salsa. I ordered the pork and cheese tamales which were delicious. Had a skinny margarita which the bartender made spicy by request that was strong and delicious. I had an amazing time here and highly recommend it. It used to be an Italian restaurant so it had a homely vibe inside and is a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy yourselves as well.

I asked my friend who I was visiting to bring me to the best Tex-Mex place in Dallas. He brought me here, and for good reason. Las Palmas is incredibly decorated with fun artwork, and set-up in multiple rooms and patios, making it feel like someone’s nice home. The staff is great. And the food is amazing. We went during happy hour and ordered a myriad of their a la carte dishes. What stood out most were the crispy tacos and the nachos fries. We left absolutely stuffed!
