The guy was very nice but I’m not sure how they take 6 items to give you 12 dollars. I was told that my items weren’t their “style” well from the looks of the store they should change the style. Everything looked outdated and old to be completely honest. Plato’s closet will go out business soon with the way the store items look. But hey it’s cool plenty of other resale shops that actually took my items and paid me way more.

These folks at this location are a pure joke!! Took shoes that retail for 150$ and they want to offer me 11$, what the hell is in the water here?!!! Get some more trend knowledgeable folks behind the counter. Just raggedy

Staff were nice but clueless. On the board it says looking for denim and long sleeve I bring in denim and long sleeve and they said we aren’t looking for that kind ? That make no sense also wouldn’t accept a pair of shoes with a baby stain when all the shoes in there look disgusting.

I had so many nice and trendy pieces that I had only worn once or twice and from good stores too only for them to buy 2 pieces of clothing (very lowballed) mind you one of the shirts they accepted I had two others in the box that look just like it. She said she couldn’t go through it because there was underwear and bras There was no underwear or bras The bras were all sports bras and underwear was all unused swimwear

Couldn't find my receipt, still had tags on them, it had been 2 days since purchased and they WOULD NOT TAKE 2 PAIRS OF JEANS BACK. REALLY, I BUY, TAKE HOME TO TRY ON AND IF THEY DON'T FIT I RETURN THEM. PURCHASE SOME MORE ITEMS. No receipt ok give a gift card or store credit so they have to spend store credit or gift card in your store, PLATO'S CLOSET. WOW

Adam had the absolute WORST customer service. Walked away while he was checking me out and saw me standing there waiting for him and had the nerve to ask “oh are you finally done over there?” The cashier who had started off checking me out had priced a shirt that didn’t have a tag and once adam started checking me out he decided to up the price and when brought to his attention he responded with “well it doesn’t have a tag so that’s what im pricing it at do you not want it?” Walked off a second time to talk on the phone and left me waiting to be checked out for over 5 minutes and when i asked the other incompetent cashier to check me out he replied with “oh hes on the phone so idk” and walked off too. A bad look for the company to have such inept workers.

Came with a jumbo bag full of clothes from fashion nova and shein. A lot of them still has tags. I has maybe 4-6 items on top from the thrift store. Came back two hours later & they said they wouldnt take my clothes because it didn’t look trendy enough. They said they only looked at the top and didnt go through the bag.. don’t waste your time

Was trying to return some goods within 7 days period as was indicated on receipt. Was refused under some childish excuse and had to buy another goods for that amount, not even store credit was allowed to give me some time to figure what i want instead. Meanwhile all my points were taken and not returned to me. Bad business practice and not a fair treatment of loyal customer. Was trying to call corporate office but they only have auto-response. Never returned my multiple messages! The fish rots from the head down.
