7 Best jewelry store in Houston, Texas (TX) 2024

The guy was very nice but I’m not sure how they take 6 items to give you 12 dollars. I was told that my items weren’t their “style” well from the looks of the store they should change the style. Everything looked outdated and old to be completely honest. Plato’s closet will go out business soon with the way the store items look. But hey it’s cool plenty of other resale shops that actually took my items and paid me way more. ~Portia

This store has so many unique things that I cannot find anywhere else! I love to look at and buy stuff that aren’t always mass produced and this place has so much of that in every department you can think of. They have specialty item clothes, plates, dinner sets, toys… all unique! It’s set up so that each department is in a different building, but you walk there, but they’re all connected together. It’s really cool, you gotta see it to know what I mean. Anyway, totally worth checking out. If you’re looking for a gift that’s different and special, I would get it from this place. ~Jeremy

Came here for a wedding band, not having purchased any custom jewelry for myself ever before. They gave me some measuring rings to use to measure my finger and then ultimately chose a size and I agreed since they're jewelers. When the piece came back it basically fell off my hand. Ok, things happen. They took it back and said they would resize it. Went back to pick it up and it basically fell off my finger again. At this point I was obviously upset and then explained that I needed their expert opinion and to size it correctly. The third time I came to pick it up it fit correctly. However they charged me a repair fee which they suggested they were going to waive after the second failed ring. Of all custom things I've purchased, sizing is on the person crafting the item. Never once has a tailor charged me an additional fee after a try-on. The ring is nice but the experience was unpleasant. The total lack of awareness for acceptable customer service will prevent me from shopping here again. ~Nicholas

My grandma passed away recently. We were very close, and I flew back and forth cross-country to spend time with her as she was dying. During this time, she gave me her engagement ring from my grandfather - the upgraded version, which he had given her on their 30th anniversary and she had worn for nearly 40 years. It was obviously incredibly sentimental (and a beautiful ring!). After returning home to Houston, I brought the ring to Sethi's to have it resized, the diamond setting tightened, and cleaned, and explained the meaning behind it. They literally made it look brand new, the diamond looked super sparkly and gorgeous, and it fit my right ring finger perfectly. I was able to get it back from them quickly enough to wear it on my flight back to see my grandma to show her, which she absolutely loved and kept admiring on me. It was so, so special and I'm incredibly grateful that they did such high-quality, quick work that ended up having a huge impact for my family. Thank you Sethi's! ~Danielle
