11 Best shoe store in Houston, Texas (TX) 2024

Fantastic location. Using the app to find things was incredibly accurate and helpful. The staff was very friendly and cheered up my shopping visit. I found what I needed in a clean, organized environment with more options and selection than I expected. I plan on visiting this location again! Only recommendation would be to somehow put a minimum speed on some of the shoppers walking in the lanes, but there isn’t much Target can do about that. :) ~Nate

The guy was very nice but I’m not sure how they take 6 items to give you 12 dollars. I was told that my items weren’t their “style” well from the looks of the store they should change the style. Everything looked outdated and old to be completely honest. Plato’s closet will go out business soon with the way the store items look. But hey it’s cool plenty of other resale shops that actually took my items and paid me way more. ~Portia

I visited this location while traveling w/my coworker for her birthday. Surprised at some of the reviews because the workers were very attentive to us. It was tax free wknd and they had a great sale. If I return to Houston I would definitely go back. The hat and shirt is from this location, as well as all jeans and another shirt not pictured for a price only of $121. ~Karnieshia

Visited at 12pm on. Thursday but the door was locked. Drove by 5 minutes later and it was open because they were getting a UPS delivery 🙄🙄 ~Valerie

Excellent to shop for clothes but employees need a rain check on customer service and on their attitudes . I Love the store not the employees must be grizzly bear or rattlesnake season when doing with any employee of Rainbow stores they all are alike must be the air not circulating. IJS ~Sandra

Another Asian store in black/Hispanic poor community! Treat everyone like a thief cause that's what they truly think of you! They treat you bad and have all these stipulations to shop at their store, poor customer service, etc. YET we continue to patronize and make them rich! Ever wonder why stores like these will never be found in nicer areas? Cause they know who to market to and they know that you'll keep coming despite the disrespect! We gotta do better! Shop with our own people and watch how they will decline. I truly wish this could happen so they'll learn how to appreciate those that put food on their tables! I don't shop here but I've been in the past. It's overrated and in the hood for a reason! Do better my people! ~Cerissa

Worst customer service. Female employee knows nothing about Jordans. Kept flirting with 2 hood guys that stunk like weed. Brought me a box of Jordans that was crushed. Ghetto. I had to walk out. Never again. ~Victor

This Ross has been the worst I have ever visited. I will never go back, and here are my reasons: (see photos) - We are in Summer and there is no AC - The whole establishment is very dirty. - There are 7 cash registers and only 1 works, checkout lines can be long and since there is only 1 cashier, the wait to pay can be long. - You can look at the photos of the fitting rooms, it's even scary to try on any clothes. Everything is super dirty and full of cobwebs and dust. Terrible conditions of this establishment. ~Patty
