When you go into the store it's hit or miss on how the person treats you. The young lady that took care of me this time was awesome! When you call the store they pick up the phone with an attitude problem. All I wanted to do was check on a item that I had ordered in store for a trip that I was taking. I know that the store is supposed to call you when your order is ready, but sometimes you can call and they will have it ready and they will just have not had the chance to call yet. The problem that I'm having is the attitude over the phone. I work in customer service and I would never handle a customer over a direct line like that. For the pass 9 years I have BUY MY CLOTHES solely from Jos A. Bank. I may not be the big spending customer, but when I spend my hard earned money I should feel like I'm apart of a brand. 90% of my clothes comes form this place.

The tailor at this location was very nice and knowledgeable and the best person in the store to work with. The staff on the other hand were pretty rude. Asking a question to the sales person who was supposed to be working with us was met with attitude and then finding her again to get a different size was another ordeal. They closed at 6 and turned off the music and locked the door at 535 pm, which also locked out one of the people with us. When asked what time they closed we got attitude again. We got here with plenty of time ( more than an hour to get a suit ) but weren’t really helped. They were more concerned with their cellphones and counting the register. Less than thrilled with this location and will go to another location to make a purchase.

Traveling from out of town and forgot a dress shirt to go with my suit. Jody helped me find a shirt in my size and steamed it for me just in time for my meeting. Great experience and very helpful. Even bought a pair of shoes. Thanks Jody!

Terrible experience at the Rice Village location. I originally went into the store to get a new suit, with the expectation of getting shirts and ties to accompany the suit. Yet it seemed as though the staff was uninterested in assisting. I went ahead and purchased a suit from the Rice Village location after having to repeat that I need assistance with getting the right size suit. Once the suit was ready for pick-up, I was greeted with the same nonchalant customer service. I tried on the suit to ensure that it fit, which it did. When checking out, not once did any of the reps ask if I was interested in purchasing any additional items. I didn't feel as though my business was wanted at the location. Therefore, I called the River Oaks location as soon as I left the Rice Village location. A gentleman named Mr. B assisted me with finding shirts, ties, and pocket squares to go with the suit. Overall, the experience at Rice Village was subpar and downright disrespectful; I will never go back and I will do a Google, Yelp, and any other review I can on the Rice Village location. I would not want anyone to experience what I did, especially after spending hundreds of dollars. The River Oaks location was the complete opposite, the entire staff was friendly and ready to assist upon entrance to the store. Highly recommended, I will return for future purchases.

Rented a tuxedo for my brothers wedding, and got a baggy, ill-fitting tuxedo, which is all I expect from this chain any more. I had to substitute a friends tuxedo pants so that I at least looked somewhat presentable. When I rented, I asked if I could return on Monday (after a Saturday wedding) and was told that wouldn’t be a problem. When I returned them on Monday, I was met by a very rude man who couldn’t care less about my request, couldn’t be bothered to verify it, and couldn’t bother to manage his rude tone for even one sentence while charging my a late fee for returning a tux exactly when I was told I could return it. Sad to see how consistently bad the service has gotten at this once decent store. I will say, the service at other Jos A Banks is far far better than this location, which only seems to hire the rudest, most incompetent associates they can find.

I bought a suit for a wedding that needed to be fixed. They told me it was going to be ready in 10 days. Sadly it wasn't. The knew it was not going to be ready since the tailor was on a two week vacation and anyway they told me it was going to be ready. Customer service during your shopping at the store is great. But they messed up my experience and order.
