Of you're looking for unique, this is your best option in Houston or anywhereI'veever been! Every item is hand picked by the owners who by the way are lovely! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. When you visit the beautiful store you'll need to plan being there for a minimum of an hour because there's so many beautiful things to see. They also have several "out buildings" at this location. Each specializing in a different theme! Kuhl-Linscomb is my favorite store I've ever been to!

Only reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because they carry unique products that make great gifts. The staff are TERRIBLE, RUDE, and RACIST. They racially profile and pick and choose which customers (the ones who look like them) they would like to be nice and helpful to. If you don’t have white skin and blonde hair, they act like you don’t exist and like your presence is a burden to their existence. Not sure why the owner is walking around bragging about his store’s recognition and handing printed copies of an article written about his store when he can’t even train his staff to be decent. Accolades don’t matter when you treat you customers like trash. Newsflash sir, your customer are the ones who made you successful. Maybe hire staff who are decent human beings. Will not give this place anymore business.

Kuhl Linscomb has the best selection of gifts and fun things you never knew you needed that can be found in Houston. Time after time I find the staff here to be rude and unwelcoming. Hopefully it’s just my own experience but I don’t find this in other retail stores in this city.

Complimentary gift wrap, yes, but be prepared, I had to wait for 25 min to get mine !!! And didn’t get a “sorry for keeping you waiting” or even a “bye, have a nice day, thanks for shopping with us”. Will never go back to this place !!

I stopped in to purchase some candles and received extraordinary customer service from Justyne in home fragrance. She went out of her way to help me match a scent for a birthday gift. She was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and offered great advice. She even took care of the details of having it gift wrapped while I continued shopping in another department.

This store has so many unique things that I cannot find anywhere else! I love to look at and buy stuff that aren’t always mass produced and this place has so much of that in every department you can think of. They have specialty item clothes, plates, dinner sets, toys… all unique! It’s set up so that each department is in a different building, but you walk there, but they’re all connected together. It’s really cool, you gotta see it to know what I mean. Anyway, totally worth checking out. If you’re looking for a gift that’s different and special, I would get it from this place.

The staff here is straight up terrible and not only during the holidays. This is especially true in the buildings with menswear, jewelry and photo frames/greeting cards/kids stuff. Be prepared to be ignored by every single staff member in this store. It doesn’t matter if you are the only one there. And if you need to check out, staff will ignore you or act like you don’t exist. Once you flag someone down be prepared to have them act like you are a burden on their soul. If it weren’t so frustrating, it would actually be hilarious. This culture comes from the top down and it seems like the owners and management pride themselves on their snotty attitudes and it’s only gotten worse throughout the years. That being said, their selection is straight up amazing and I can always find great gifts. Wedding registry was also good and the girls there were very helpful, at least they were when we used them to register for gifts. Dial back the snot nose attitude and this store would be the gem that it has the potential to be.

Great store for unique gift ideas. You can spend hours browsing the huge selection. They offer free gift wrapping as well. This is my go-to gift spot for the person that has everything.

This place is always a cool maze with treasures around the corner. I received a gift card in 2015 and only used it once since then until recently. Some of their baking items are over the top expensive (more than Amazon). This gorgeous Alice in Wonderland plate I had my eye on is $90! There's a gift for everyone here. It'll take some time to navigate around and the store even has a map print of each department section. It'll take a good 2-4 hours for browsing. I'll be back.
