My husband and I just bought a mattress from Texas Mattress Makers and we are in LOVE with our bed! It is the most supportive mattress I have ever slept on and you can just tell how well made it is by laying on it. We both have been getting deeper sleep and waking up without stiff neck muscles! Noah, the mattress designer, was actually the person that helped us select a mattress. He answered every single question (and I had a bunch) and never rushed us, he was so helpful and informative. Thank you, Texas Mattress Makers! I know we will enjoy this bed for years to come!

The sales process felt like buying a used car. My husband thought he needed a better mattress for his back so they convinced him to buy one of the most expensive and what is said to be the most comfortable. Honestly it’s like sleeping on concrete and now for the first time in my life in my 40s I have pain and am finding it hard to sleep. My big concern though is that you can’t return for a refund if the mattress is terrible. Instead you get store credit. But because we brought the most expensive mattress even replacement we try will be cheaper so we have store credit we could never use. Unable to Sleep pain free I am very disappointed.

Decent buying experience in the showroom. I bought the most plush mattress available in my budget. After sleeping on it for a month and waking every night with hip, back and shoulder pain, I just couldn’t take it anymore and called to rerun the mattress. Sadly, it’s going to cost me hundreds of dollars to return it. It feels like adding insult to injury. I can’t afford to pay MORE for their other mattresses but I can’t sleep on the one I got (London Plush). Bottom line… if you aren’t 100% sure of the mattress, don’t buy it here. Other places have true buy/try policies without restocking and delivery fees. Live and learn… but ao won’t buy from here or recommend my friends to buy here. It’s too much of a risk. Seriously, even MACYS has a better return policy! Also, just a note. The mattress has a strong chemical smell and it has not lessened in the 30+ days that I’ve had it. If you are sensitive to smells, this could be a problem.

I have made 2 purchase. One 5 years ago and another one 2 months and I’m still happy. I have tried other companies and was highly disappointed and probably will not go back. TMM creates awesome lasting products

Purchased a low profile box spring for my king size bed and it is very sturdy and high quality. It is made out of solid wood and is also available ind different colors. Texas made!

Very friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere to take your time making an important decision. The show room has approximately 30 examples to look at and evaluate. Diego helped us by throughly explaining the different features of the mattresses and box springs. Mr. Lax is an excellent employee that helped us too. I have been a customer of Texas Mattress Makers for over 15 years and very happy with the quality of the mattresses I have purchased. Highest quality and best prices.

Bought a mattress from them well over a year and a half ago. They were fantastic with getting it made and shipped to me very quickly. The guys up front were helpful and courteous. I got a fairly expensive mattress that was incredibly soft in the showroom. Once home, it was quite stiff, though they said it was to be expected and it needed to be broken in (which included walking around on it). Not a big deal but it never did soften up. They took the mattress back and delivered another. Again, great customer service with their responsivness. Sadly, it's now been over a year and the mattress has never gotten to be as soft as it was in the showroom and I've never been able to comfortably sleep on my side as my shoulder is very achy by morning. Back sleeping is no problem thankfully. I think I'll just break down and get a mattress topper for my $3K mattress. All in all, their customer service deserves 6 out of 5 stars, but because the mattress never matched the showroom product and what I thought I was getting, I'm only giving 2 stars. I probably should have reached out a third time but I didn't want to deal with it even though, looking back after a year and a half now, I certainly should have. My fault there :(

We had a great experience and bought a mattress on our first visit after searching for months. Unlike the mattress chains the sales people are salaried, not commissioned so there is no high pressure. They have a good selection of high an lower end products, but don’t overwhelm you with gimmicky brands and endless higher priced choices. My sales person quoted us a fair price an when we were paying I was surprised that it included tax, delivery and he didn’t try to sell us a bunch of add-on’s.

Really nice people and very helpful. They really take the time to find what mattress works best for you. They give you time to try each suggestion out and are not pushy. They spend time explaining how the mattress should fit and feel to you body. Mattresses appear good quality and they are all custom made to order. They are not the cheapest in town but the seem honest about the construction and materials the use. I believe their products would last longer the the big box stores. The main show room is at the manufacturing facility so it is not posh and pretty but is is also not dirty or uncomfortable. They opened a new showroom in Humble but have not been there yet. If you go ask for Jeff is seemed to be the best salesman there.
