You can read my review posted below here, but I do think you'll be far challenged to convince me that your practice is honestly trying here. " Nonplussed: This practice seems to have an issue providing medical advice, clear and concise. They provide confusing or no clear answers. Might even ask you, the customer, what to do. tl;dr: They should provide medical guidance, clear and concise. From what I've seen they are very inconsistent or negligent in reviewing patient history. I may never know where the disconnect is here, but I plan to speak to as many people as possible in the management chain of Banfield to get a clear answer on the lack of medical guidance in this practice. Full Read: When you go to a veterinarians clinic you expect to get professional guidance. This is the problem here, while initially I had a dog crack a tooth and was told the root was exposed by Dr. Smith, they sent him home with pain meds to hold him over till a surgery tooth removal could be scheduled. This surgery was scheduled for 10/1. Well on 10/1 surprise, they called and asked me what I wanted to do. I asked them what the dog needed, and Dr. Mahone wasn't sure. She actually asked me if the dog was in pain. So, obviously she had no communication, or paperwork from Dr. Smith two weeks prior, where they said, it would be painful, because the root was exposed, and needed to be pulled. My problem here is Dr. Mahone literally wouldn't provide a medical opinion on what the dog actually needs. They kept asking me, what I wanted to do, or guidance from me. This is unacceptable, this place is supposed to provide professional medical guidance for pets. It could depend on the doctor you get assigned, but it's pretty worrying when you're calling an architect to ask them what I want to do with a dog that needs medical attention. Then provide no guidance on what the needs of the animal actually are. What adds to the confusion, here is that Dr Smith told me two weeks prior, what the dog needed. I asked Dr. Mahone and she was not sure, and would not recommend an actual treatment. Just told me, they "could" pull it, or "leave" it. They should provide medical guidance, clear and concise. From what I've seen they are very inconsistent or negligent in reviewing patient history. I may never know where the disconnect is here, but I plan to speak to as many people as possible in the management chain of Banfield to get a clear answer on the lack of medical guidance in this practice."

If I could give negative stars I would. For 2 years they would not merge my two dogs. Both my husband and I own 2 dogs together and they always every two seconds asking for permission to talk about their file only with the person the file belongs to. They are rude. They don't dx the dogs correctly and make you come back the next day because if you fail to remind what the dog is going for the. They do what ever they want. This is the worst company to have let insurance for your dogs. You will pay for more in their medicines and making multiple trips to get them seen. The customer service on the phone for the 1-800 # they are the rudest people ever. They claim they know their policies but violent them. I want to warnd everyone from staying far away from this pet insurance company. They are a scam. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I was out for a walk last Sunday morning when a dog 🐕 followed me home 🏡 I took him here so they could scan him to see if he was chipped. Unfortunately he wasn't. They were so friendly and helpful. I found the owners of the dog but if I get another dog I'll certainly use Banfield for all his medical needs.

I am beyond horrified with the gross negligence in the care of my German Shepard, we had expressed concern about some bumps on her skin multiple times, and concerns weren’t heard until she started picking at it to the point she was bleeding, they told us it was just a cyst and she should be fine. This was about 3 weeks ago, we brought her back because we saw no improvement. They finally tell us they think it’s cancer or allergies to her food and she would need to be switched to a $100 bag of dog food. When it was confirmed by pathology that it was cancer she was booked for images costing nearly $400, we knew it was going to be a very hard and expensive road. She was x-rayed Wednesday. We had yet to hear back yet about the results. As of about 4 hours ago she’s now dead. Had we been listened too sooner our almost 7 year old with the energy of a puppy up until about 1-2 months ago would still be alive. I am beyond disgusted with who this has been handled the vets should be ashamed.

These people couldn’t get a prescription approved to our pharmacy ever the first time. Happens every time we need a refill and we have to hound them to approve. The office manager is incompetent and has been for years.

We used the one in Frisco prior to moving to Rockwall. Our experiences at this location in the last year have been bad. In our last visit was the last straw, we took 2 dogs there one they did not treat or diagnose our main concerns and when we picked up one dog, it paid while I was holding it. I do not believe they walk the dogs that they treat.

Banfield Is great for shots & spaying or neutering. If you are in need of a Vet for an emergency or sudden illness you can forget it. They are not going to help you. You must have a secondary Vet to go. I have several pets enrolled in their program and 3 times have been told they are to busy to help. Had to go to an outside vet.
