Love using this rental car company. They are fast and professional. Also due to the shortage of cars, I would highly recommend to call them the day before your reservation to confirm there is a car for you!

The experience was good overall. There were a couple of nuisances though. I stopped renting from Enterprise and started Renting at National long time ago when they were separate companies. Reason: National lets you pick a car vs. Enterprise where they assign you a car from a very limited (poor) options. When I arrived at the Kiosk, it seems like it was combined for Enterprise/National. The associate was friendly, but for my "Standard SUV", the only 2 options were Chevy Equinox or a mini-van. I needed an SUV for sure and I didn't feel that Equinox was a standard SUV. That feels like a small SUV. I had no option but to pay more to upgrade to a larger size SUV because I had family/luggage outside. They had to get the car from another location, which took some time. That's not a big deal. But when the car arrived, it wasn't the usual "National clean". It had not been washed because the windshield was full of dead bug marks, which made visibility a challenge. It remained that way throughout the trip, until the rain cleaned the windshield when I was returning to town. This whole experience just reminded me why I had stopped renting from Enterprise. If the experience continues this way (i.e. no freedom to pick the car, dirty car etc.), I may have to switch my loyalty to another company.

I love the ease with which I can reserve, pick up and return a car at this rental. I am bit disappointed with the interior smell of my last rental, I must admit I did not see a no smoking sticker on the inside. I am also still trying to earn my free rental.

I had the hardest time getting through to the hobby location I wound up calling the sugar land location to see if anyone could help. I was helped by Jarel Wells over the phone and he as amazing. Going above and beyond to help me with my reservation. I wish everyone in customer service was as awesome as Jarel.

Never rent from a place that doesn’t answer their phones. If something goes wrong while you’re on the road or you need adjustments to your reservation, you’ll want to be sure someone - anyone - is near the phone to help you during open hours. Very poor customer service. It’s unconscionable that employees can just “be out” for hours at a time.

I recently rented a vehicle from National Car Rental at the Sugar Land Airport. It was very convenient and the attendant was great with his customer service. I highly recommend them.

I have rented from this location several times but the last 3 visits have been terrible. However my 6 pm reservation from yesterday was the worst. I took and Uber ($55) from downtown to their Location only to find out they were closed! The gentlemen from Hertz said they left at exactly 6 pm! He went on to stay they stay till their last reservation arrives or they call the customer to make other arrangements if they are closing. That would have been nice to hear from National before I paid $55 and then $68 dollars to go back to my original location. This was a huge waste of time, money and is absolutely infuriating.

Showed up at the place but was told my car was't ready and needed to be cleaned, the reason was my pick up time was 30 min prior. I waited 30 min and told them I will drive with it as long as it's cleaned inside. It's not the receptionist lady's fault. She's doing the best she can. But there's something wrong with the management and process of this place. I will think twice before renting from this place again.

This is a scam place. I booked 7 seater 2 months in advance and called and confirmed 20 days ahead of my trip since I saw a reviewer said it got cancelled for him thinking it is one off the incident. Exact thing happened to me. Just before the trip they said they no longer has the vehicle. Now I have to pay almost twice the amount for last minute reservation. Absolutely scam company. STAY AWAY....

Not a reliable company at all, we made reservation 2 months in advance, only to find out three days prior to the trip that they don't have the car available for us. We called the customer service, and the associate was rude, showing no sense of courtesy or customer service. He asked us to send an email, but no response. I had to run around to look for another car and guess what, because of this company, I had to pay much higher price since I was trying to book last minute. Very disappointed!
