Theu came in after hours to help my really sick doggy. They were very kind and 12 hours later on the antibiotic and she is already acting better. Thank you Dr. Esplin.

We have gone to this vet for 16 years. We had never had an issue until now. Unfortunately their neglect or lack of concern resulted in the death of our 4 year old dog! After an emergency C-section she wasn't bouncing back, not acting normal. I went back 3 days later and the vet could care less. I expressed concern that her pee was clear and odorless, he responded that that meant she was well hydrated, yet she hadn't eat or drank in 6 days! I requested they did labs, which showed 9 issues. The vet pointed to 1 and said, her kidney's were a little high, but that is because she was dehydrated. He completely ignored the other 8 issues on her lab work. He said she wasn't eating because she was in pain, so he gave me pain meds for her. He didn't say we should follow up to see if things change, nothing. He tried to convince me that everything was fine and normal. I didn't like how they acted, so I got a second opinion. By the time I got her in to the new vet it was too late. She had internal bleeding, which showed up on the first set of lab work, but the vet ignored it! Her kidney's also failed, like the labs were showing, that he claimed was slight dehydration. It was completely devastating to lose her.

First time coming to this Vet office. Very clean and the people that work here are very friendly. The Dr was very good eith my puppy. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES TO THIS PLACE! They did a hack job on my dogs eyes. It is a low cost hospital. Which means they do not have to give your fur babies good treatment. What they did to her was malpractice! If I had the money and time I would sue them. She will be on meds for the rest of her life because of them! They deserve even one star!

I'm extremely grateful for the compassion and empathy for everyone who works at this animal hospital. I had to put my dog down here and they made the process so much easier and I could tell they actually care and feel empathy. I know when you work at a busy place that see's lots of life coming in and leaving it's hard to make everyone feel valued and seen. They manage to accomplish that still.

I love taking my dogs to see Dr. Esplin and Dr. Francisco. Their office is always clean and their staff are friendly and helpful. The doctors are attentive and really listen to any concerns we have. When they've had to deliver us bad news they do it in a way that shows they care. They are very popular so there is a bit of a wait time, but it's worth it!

We just had our first wellness visit with Dr. Esplin. He was gentle with our new border collie rescue and gave him a good health report. Happily, he assured me there are no fleas or mosquito born heart worm here in Utah. His office staff were very personable and efficient. I bought C.E.T. enzymatic toothpaste in poultry flavor for my dog, Cody and he loves it!

Our 6 month old puppy broke her femur and we were told by several vets that we should just put her down. Dr Francisco performed surgery on it and she is happy and healthy. He was very affordable and so helpful with any questions we had. Update: it’s been almost a year and she is running around like nothing happened and is so health and happy!

Dr. Francisco was so good with my dog. He is a caring vet. Everyone at the clinic was so nice. They are very reasonably priced and the wait time was not bad at all. Even during COVID they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and informed about what they are doing. They also explain everything to you before your visit so you know what to expect. I highly recommend Southern Utah Animal Hospital as well as Dr. Francisco. You can tell that he truly does care about your pet.
