Worst experience with a car dealer. Placed a deposit on a car with an agreement when we were coming to look at it, then get a call asking us to fill out financing because 2 other people were interested. We were coming with our own financing. Get there, the car has not been properly detailed. Everything they agreed to do was not done, when called on it they became hostile. The only reason we actually purchased this vehicle is that is was exactly what we were looking for and could not find elsewhere in this market. The only helpful and pleasant person we dealt with was Marc, if you must go here work with him only!

Extremely helpful last minute service and super friendly staff. A part in my rear brakes seized up around 11am on a Saturday when I was almost two hours from home. They were really busy and still managed to fit me in and complete the major repair on my vehicle before closing at 1pm. The technician even took the time to repair one of the several major parts needed, thereby saving me several hundred on repairs overall. I definitely would recommend the service department at this VW dealership. Thanks for your help!

Disappointed with the buying experience at Langway. Bought a used car, discovered an accident on its record afterward (not disclosed at dealer despite asking for the Carfax and being assured it had a clean record). Dealer failed to include the proprietary tire lug tool specific to my vehicle (waiting on a new lug kit and am currently unable to install my spare tire if I get a flat). Afraid of what else I may discover down the line with this car purchase.

Last Thursday I got a flat tire on my VW Alltrack. I was close to Langway and arrived at the service department shortly after they closed. Tamara welcomed me and actually tried to contact a tech after hours. While not able to do so, she simply gave me the keys to a loaner to get home for the evening. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I came back the next day to learn the flat was catastrophic, but the techs determined I was within spec for a single tire which they ordered. Later they called to say the tire was backordered until the following Wed. I was travelling for the weekend and they immediately arranged and provided a rental at a very reasonable rate. On Tuesday they called me to tell me my car was ready as the tire came in early. I went to pick up my car and they had not only replaced the tire, but completed an unrelated TSB to my interior. So this seems like a story for a movie plot but it really happened. I had an 1997 Toyota Camry on its last legs and 2-3 days ago it died on me on my way back to the hotel I was staying at. I have work this Saturday and If I have no way there I would loose it, warehouses are strict policy businesses. So I spend 3+ hours calling banks and dealerships, filling out applications and who contacts me? Mike of Langway and he tells me he was interested in helping me and understanding my situation he was gonna get me new wheels that I could bring home that night. I don’t have a way to Vermont so he tells me you don’t have to worry we will pick you up, 1 hour later an representative picks me up brings me back to them and Mike informs me that his company has put down $5,000 for the bank to get me into a car so I don’t have to. Who does that! No dealership manager I ever talked to went this far for a customer, to save them from loosing everything. But wait it gets better! They set me up with progressive auto insurance and they wanted a deductible down right then an there that I don’t have, every ounce of money I had went into the Camry to keep it going. What do they do? They PAID it for me! I am at this point in tears because they’ve saved my career and my future in just afew hours. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in need of a vehicle or in a rough spot whether you are from Vermont or not. Next time I come through, I’m bringing them a couple six packs to celebrate

We recently were in the market for a very specific lightly used vehicle. Despite not having it in stock right away, Jeff and the team were able to track one down. A couple of weeks after coming in, they called me and told me they had found a car and then laid out the details as to when it would be available. On a tight timeline, Jeff was able to coordinate getting the vehicle on site and worked with me to test drive it and make a decision within the window I had laid out. The entire team (Jeff, Mark, Drew) all played a part in helping get this done for us and it was much appreciated. It was exactly what you hope for when buying a car - great customer service, excellent communication and personalized execution. Highly recommend dealing with these guys if you are in the market

The lease on our Tiguan was about to expire so it was time to see our friends at Langway of Manchester. We've leased three Tiguans so we felt comfortable getting another but this time we wanted to purchase it instead of leasing it. We were so very fortunate to have gotten an appointment with Jeffrey because he made the process simple and easy. He showed us what was available and got us quotes for our options. He is an honest and friendly gentleman who made us feel right at home and expedited the paperwork with both our insurance company and Langway. His genuine amiability made it a pleasure doing business with Langway! So if you're looking for a new car go to Langway and ask for Jeffrey. You'll be glad with the whole experience!

Langway's Service Center, where 'you don't understand' intersects with 'you're an insurance claimant, not a customer'. (Thank you Tamara). Management has not responded to any written inquiries or concerns. Ronnie and Mark have been phenomenal about burying any details and facts requested in an invoice 'they don't have to provide' after replacing the engine in my Equinox, delaying service for over 23 days due to incompetent internal communication, and left us requesting a full audit and investigation of the insurance claim. After returning a rental vehicle to Bennington and arriving to pick up the vehicle within the time they identified it would be ready, we were 'greeted' with rolling eyes, many excuses and raised voices explaining how difficult their jobs were. The matter has been open since August, and as of 9/29 no resolve. Once a reputable technician can be identified, we'll work on completing the repairs including the air conditioning and ignition issues which still require attention. Others would benefit by going elsewhere, and at the very least, assuring that you will receive an itemized invoice prior to rendering payment.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! Here is the recent car buying experience- purchased a used vehicle from there earlier in the month. It was a super easy process, signed the papers and walked out of there with the car. The nightmares followed a mere 2 days after purchasing. The alignment was way off, so the dealership was contacted. They said they couldn't get it in for service for a week and a half out. Ok, no big deal. The next day the car wouldn't start and took forever to turn over. Had someone look at it, the alternator was bad. Called again. They moved the day of service up by a couple of days. Took the car in, they refused to fix the alternator because there weren't any service lights on in the car and "how do you know it was bad". The car barely made it to the dealership, but ok. What do I know. The only fixed the alignment and made sure to let me know that the service department picked up the bill as a courtesy. A couple days later, I get a call that the loan never was submitted, they "forgot" to submit to the bank. Huh? I drove off with a done deal the day I purchased. This call came 10 days after the purchase of the car. I had SIXTEEEN hard inquiries on my credit from them running different loans after this call occurred, dropping my credit score over 300 points. Making it impossible to get approved for another car loan, even through langway to repurchase the car I believed I had already purchased. I had to return the car, where it sat on the lot for another week and a half, no phone calls from them with an update on the loan. Called them multiple times, dead ends. Eventually I sent someone there to pick up my belongings that were left in the car, such as my tire repair kit, jumper cables, and a couple other personal items. They had already removed the items from the car, despite me not stating I wasn't going to keep the car anymore, and only handed over a couple items, stating they didn't have the rest. They later "magically" found all of the items after an argument occurred when they tried to refund only HALF of the down payment that was placed on the car, claiming it was paid on two separate cards, when it was in fact paid in full on one card. They are running some sort of scam here, or just don't know how to run a business AT ALL. Please, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I happened to take a walk around Langway, since I have been looking into buying my first car. I was not planning to purchase anything, but found the perfect car for me at a great price. Jeffery was SO helpful and explained every little thing that I would need to know. Since I was making this first purchase by myself, I had no idea what I was doing; Jeffery walked me through everything, including helping me talk to an insurance agent. Jeffery, and the team at Langway could not have been better. I drove away feeling confident and reassured. Thank you!!!
