I love how the gym has been updated to get rid of the out dated 80s look. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I appreciate that the equipment is repaired in a timely manner and that they have an abundance of everything needed. The entire gym is kept clean and neat.

It's a Golds, and while they vary they're still the byword for quality commercial gym spaces. This one has a pool, some large class spaces, and a decently stocked weight room, including a belt squat and a GHR, machines that are always nice to see. Good turf area. There's also a little upstairs boxing area, though it is lacking a ring, just bags and enough space to run some drills. Unfortunately they don't have 24 hour access or much in the way of throwing implements. The free weight area is also a bit strange, with multiple high weight rogue benches contrasted with there not even being enough bars to go around.

Great place, very spacious, the sauna is amazing along with the hot tub and pools. Has a basketball court and womens only section which i thought was pretty cool to offer. Friendly and inviting staff with plenty of classes i cant comment on yet but they do offer a variety!

I have gone to this gym for a couple of months and it’s been an amazing experience. However, the payment system is confusing. I’ve recently told that I have an overdue payment to make and was never notified until a while ago. I was never sent an email or mail notifying me about the payment. And I’m wondering if they have online payment? I tried the app but won’t let me access to the manage membership.

I'm from out of town and have a membership with one life, these guys gave me a day pass and I got my work out in which was so nice.every one was super friendly and helpful, the gym was nice with all the equipment you could possibly want.

Staff is friendly love the lay out of the gym just had encounter I guess with some members that made me every uncomfortable but other then that it was awesome

Great place for weight training, cardio equipment is basic. Needs new squat racks/power cages on the main floor and new weight plates. Staff is friendly, sauna is currently broken and building is in need of some major tlc with a leaky roof. I would say this is probably 2nd or 3rd best gym in Roanoke behind green ridge and the rack for a third of the price

The place is VERY unclean. The workers are NOT knowledgeable about anything there. And 90% of the workout equipment is broken or doesn't work properly, which is very dangerous. All but 2 treadmills have issues. Basically the only thing you can do here is lift weights if you can find a spot with all the beef heads sweating up the equipment.

Beware!! I initially thought this gym was going to be great. It's clean, has a pool, group classes, and they have a large variety of equipment. However, when I had a career change and started traveling, I attempted to cancel my account. Seeing that before I signed my contract, I specifically asked the manager if I would be able to cancel at any time without penalty and was told yes, I assumed it wouldn't be an issue. I've submitted the requested documentation and am still being told that I cannot cancel my account. I've been trying to cancel my account for the passed 2 months now and have spoken to 5 different people, all of which keep pushing me off onto someone else. One person told me I would need to pay $1500 to break my contract. All these people want is your money, so beware of this before signing a contract that they'll tell you is able to be canceled at anytime, but in actuality it isn't. Worst gym experience!!

Real nice gym, well equipped and very friendly, professional employees. Unfortunately, corporate policy has instituted a policy by which you buy/leave your ID for a towel to wipe down the equipment which means that 99.9% of attendees don't clean up after themselves and now have a prime excuse not to. I understand the policy is to prevent theft of towels but it's having a very adverse affect on cleanliness of equipment.
