Would NOT recommend this place at all! Not a professional eye exam at all. Staff was helpful but the doctor- ugh! Maybe he doesn’t like his job- but I found the exam of my eyes lacking! And not honest! I think this place must get a kick back from the local cataract center- I have never ever been told I have cataracts- very mild glaucoma but never cataracts- this Drs recommendation to fix my need for new eyeglasses was to go get cataract surgery. They also did not dilate my eyes to see more clearly into the condition of my eyes. I have had a thorough exam of my eyes in the recent past by a different Doctor- this place has a low standard! Their eyeglass center is great though! No complaints there!

Bought my glasses a year ago, which was so easy thanks to their great customer service. Anyway, I lost my glasses a few days ago and couldn’t find them. Suddenly my daughter handed them to me and said she had found them in the clothes dryer. Not only did the survive the wash cycle but they tumbled out of the dryer like new! Great quality. Still no scratches and they’re squeaky clean!!

I told the optometrist that I see starbursts at night in oncoming lights. He didn't check for astigmatism, just told me not to drive at night. Then he told me that maybe my eyes were too dry and to use eye drops. Here's a hint about why that made me upset: water refracts light. Watery eyes just makes weird light refractions worse. Let's just exacerbate the problem, that'll fix it.

Went in to have my glasses adjusted on Sunday this week. When I got home and took them off one arm just practically fell off. The person who adjusted my glasses broke them. So I'm to come in and find another pair of frames. Now the frames they have are very bland.

I have gotten glasses almost yearly from this Costco for the last 16 years. They are great at replacing glasses if they've gotten a major scratch. They show you different options but don't try and push transitions or other specialty things on you they you don't want. Yes some of the newer people working in the glasses department are not the greatest about adjusting glasses. The majority of workers are nice and listen to what you want.

New girl not helpful at all. Could not look me up with out my Costco card in person at the optical center. When I have been buying my contacts there for 3 years without my card. I didn't want to wait again for another person to help so I called later and they helped me out with out waiting in line or my Costco card.

The experience was very mixed, to say the least. Getting into the doctor's office and getting an exam was a wonderful process. Scheduling was easy, the doctor was very nice and easy to talk to, and that whole side of things was great. Absolutely 100% good experience with the doctor. The glasses-purchasing section is where this review loses two stars. There was quite a long wait, even after the people before us in the queue (there is a "take a number" system, which is perfectly fine), where the guy at the desk just kind of stood there. He walked back and forth between two computers for a moment, then said goodnight to another employee who appeared to be leaving for the night, then called us over to be helped a good 15 minutes after the previous customer had left. But then talking to the guy was awkward, and he wasn't very clear in answering any of our questions, and then he didn't mention that I wouldn't be able to use my debit card until everything was said and done and we were ready to pay. For clarification, we were in Costco with my mother-in-law's Costco membership. It wasn't a huge problem, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. The selection of frames is pretty good, as are the prices overall, but the awkwardness of the whole experience could be a deal-breaker depending on the type of person you are. The experience with the doctor is great, but you may consider going somewhere else for your glasses once you have a prescription in hand. Update: Returned to pick up my new glasses and it was a much better experience. Same guy, too. It was late in the day before, so he may have just had a rough day. +1 star to my original review.

Got my glasses adjusted here more than 3x and was dissatisfied each time, busy or not. Review is based on my worst and final experience: The person used her fingers to bend the nose pad arm and clearly struggling. I asked why she doesn't use tools and she said, "we use tools but these are moving pretty easy." It was useless trying to explain the proper angle I needed for the pad arm bc she kept wanting to change the temple angle over the ears to make the legs longer. After about 10mins of back and forth, another optician came over, told me she was in training and used it as a teaching moment. Im all for OJT and have the patience for it, but if you dont know what you're doing ask for some help instead of appearing to know it all.

Your experience at this vision center will vary greatly depending on who waits on you. I get the very real feeling that they are not all well trained to do what they are doing and I don't sense a great deal of professionalism from these folks though they do seem to be friendly. By professionalism I mean they don't seem eager to serve you and by not well trained I mean most of them have trouble answering your questions.

I was not satisfied with this vision center. I waited four weeks for the trial contact but they never ordered it. That was fine. Then I received a prescription but the doctor didn't sign it so I can't order them. I am just tired of going back to this vision center to take care of this eye business. There are other vision centers in town that are more professional and caring.
