Other than rental prices being insanely high right now, we had a great trip. The staff was really nice and when we found an issue with our first car option, they were quick to switch us to another without issue. We have always rented here and will continue to do so.

The customer service is always good whenever I rent a car from Avis. Unfortunately. my car was dirty due to the Monsoon from the previous night. However, the inside was not clean and reeked cigarette smoke inside.

Avis customer service has gone downhill. worst in industry. if you need to rent a vehicle, and revenue/sales related you are instantly connected to an agent. if you have a problem, need to speak to anyone in customer service, nobody avail .leave messages, and emails, no response....last agent told me to upload info and supporting documents to one of their sites...got an auto reply back that had nothing to do with my inquiry, and then when I returned the third vehicle that had maintenance issues,,,, they charged my credit card with more charges and fees that more than doubled by rental contract. been a preferred member for decades, never again GOING to ENTERPRISE

This was my 2nd time renting with AVIS since my go to Enterprise didn't have availability. My issue with Avis is their customer service. The check engine light turned on when we had the vehicle, I called the store and the guy kept asking me if I was sure it was the check engine light. I checked the Manuel, which was not in the glove compartment. It was in the storage bin behind the third row seating along with the floor mats. He told me not to worry about it since I didn't hear noises from the vehicle. And then suggested to contact the local Avis if it bothered me. Seriously? I'm hundreds miles from home and that's the advice you give? What do you say to that. That was it. We got back and I'm pretty sure the guy I spoke to was at the store. He seemed to not care. I'm glad we didn't get stranded because we were traveling with the kids.

It's an Avis and a budget location built in 1. Making it super convenient to choose a lower cost, especially if you're a cheapo like myself. If all the times I've rented here, I've never had one single bad experience. They are usually quick and efficient. Even the guys that work in the back (that make sure you're car is clean and ready to go) are super nice! Barb has always been great! There are times where you will have to wait, but let's face it...people show up when they want to show up!
