Love this place. Great employees and awesome customer service. Could be more familiar with some products. Friendly atmosphere and lots of fun stuff to potentially buy. Has the latest inventory of what the sale far as the sport of shooting. All the popular air guns and rifles are there. Just simply love this place, it's like my dream home

Called the store beforehand to be sure they had wrestling shoes was told yes. Got to the store walked in and ask the women in front she stated that they didn't until my husband asked me "didn't you call" then she changed and said she was going to go ask and the gentleman said yes and showed us where they were. Not sure why the employee lied right off the bat but she didn't hesitate to do so 🤷🏻♀️

I came in to get some baseball gear for my son . When I walked in the employees greeted me and pointed me to the right direction. As I get to the childrens baseball area , I immediately become frustrated because I could not find what I was looking for. I searched and I searched and then I gave up and started to head back to the front of the store. Now, this is my sons first year playing baseball (we’ve been in football for 4 years) so I had no clue what to look for when it comes to sizes of the mitt or best cleats. Anyway I go to the front and I nicely ask for someone to please help me . Along to save the day was KERRICK ! He helped me find a mitt, cleats , pants , and he even told us how to break in the new mitt since I time him I was new at this. Now I am telling you, I was so ready to give up and ask AMAZON , but when KERRICK offered to assist and literally did all the shopping for me , I was so grateful! I appreciate this type of service. KERRICK you rock and thank you again !!!

0 STARS The older man Curtis that is supposedly that manager is the most disrespectful dude iv ever dealt with. Disrespected me as well as my daughter. He probably didn't expect anyone to say anything back to him. And this is besides the fact the they have none of the inventory they show online.

Not a big store but has what you need. I recently found some fluorescent golf balls that were recycled and they had a great deal for them. They also have a nice Carhartt section; tons of hats and beanies I've never seen in store! I bought a long sleeve earlier there today and never have seen that color from Carhartt. Pretty stoked! I usually buy my work boots here too. Love this place!

Doing holiday shopping, and had one of the worst experiences here today. My family loves Big 5, and have been shopping here for years and years. Actually today this is the second Big 5 we came to because the first didn’t have what we needed. Upon our time in this store, we needed some assistance at the knife counter. When asking for help, the person who we asked for help at checkout gave a pretty short response about being there in a moment. (Totally understand that it’s busy days before Christmas). His arrival at the counter was even more rude than before. We were apologizing for pulling him away from the counter and thought there might have been calling someone else up to the front, and while apologizing he cut off what was being said and had another rude response saying something along the lines of how it was only him in a rude manner to a customer trying to spend multiple hundred dollars in your store. Upon this response, the person I was shopping with asked the man to stop acting so rudely to us. He then threatened to throw us out of the store! We responded no that we were trying to apologize and just get service.Turns out this man acting so disrespectfully to customers is the store manager Jack! All other employees we’re so kind and helpful it is astounding that this is the treatment from the manager. This all being said, we weren’t trying to be Karens, nor were we rude when we asked for help we were polite. I know the holiday season in retail is hard, I worked as a manager myself for many years. It was embarrassing on behalf of customer service for a manager of a store to lash out at customers over asking for help. Again, every other employee was so nice and helpful, but I will avoid going back to this Big 5 and go to other locations, or other businesses completely in the future. This manager needs some serious training if this is the top level within this store.

Lots of stock and choices even of size 13 shoes. Was impressed with the young man who helped us in the shoe department while 3 other older salesmen decided to carry on a conversation not 5 feet away from us as we were looking at socks and trying to make a decision about what kind to buy and could have used some help with. They did finally break off their conversation and one came over but wasn't much help.

I went there looking for table tennis paddles and ended up buying a bunch of other stuff! For a smaller store, they have a ton of stuff. Great sneaker selection also. If I had to list something negative, I'd say they could have a better selection of firearms. I could be wrong but I remember going there a couple of years ago and they had a much bigger selection. Anyway, great store that I highly recommend!
