I was excited to get some Cuban food and Flamingo hit it out of the ballpark. I was told about the Pollo Asado and said I’d take it as long as it came with B beans and rice. O boy was that good. 1/2 chicken on the bone with a citrus sauce.

Great service and friendly staff. Will help you choose a good dish. The brick work, the antique lamps and the layout provides great aesthetics. The best part is the food. Very authentic flavor and it doesn’t take long to start to enjoy Cuban Food! Luckily my food was accompanied by the sound of Spanish and beautiful Latinas of all ages.

This was our first time visiting and trying this restaurant. We allowed the waitstaff to make a suggestion on what to try. She suggested 2 dishes - ox tail meal and a chicken meal with a garlic butter sauce. We also tried potato balls and a cuban sandwich. The portion size were larger and the dishes were very flavorful. The waitstaff was very friendly and checked on us often to see if we needed anything. We will diffently be back to try something different. Parking: Easy parking in the lot off 4th street.

Went to dine in with family and food was ok warm, flavor was alright not impressed for first time experience.. unfortunately not too happy with food.. my husband ordered the pita sandwich it was soaked in grease! service was ok I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a truly Cuban experience

Great food! Portions look small but they are just right. Flavors are unique and wonderful. Doesn't offer a traditional waiter at your table service as was the case prior to the pandemic but you order at the counter and then basically the same friendly service as before.

Been here twice and the food at this place is really good. The service here is also good too. Definitely would recommend this place if your interested in eating some good Cuban food

I can say as for our first time trying cuban food, My wife and i loved it! Their pollo asado is uniquely flavored and their steak dishes are delightful. Be sure to ask for a side of their special garlic sauce for anything you order, that garlic sauce has a nice tangy kick to it. Also we loved the presentation of the food on the plates. However i am removing 1 star due to their restrooms, 1 had a really bad smell to it, and the womens one had its toilet clogged fully, i dont get why yhe restaurant didnt put an out of order sign for that one to prevent customers going in and seeing that. Fix the restroom please.

I ordered Canarones rellenos and Pollo Asado (special of the day) I have been away from Puerto Rico for a long time. The fact that this food felt like my abuela made it made me want to go to this place more often.

brought my mother-in-law, who is cuban, to this amazing restaurant because i knew their delicious food would impress her. it was a hit! also i’d just like to mention that the staff AND us customers were all practicing social distancing, so it was that much more peaceful lol.

An amazing visit to fill your belly with Cuban delicacies. The food is surprisingly authentic and their empanadas will keep me wanting to visit again (and again). Wait staff are fun and friendly. Fairly roomy inside and has a fun vibe.
