100% of the time! If the weather is inclement, WEBPASS TURNS INTO WEBASS! It doesn’t work! And I thought Cox cable was bad…. Do yourself a favor, don’t sign up with Webpass.

I have been extremely disappointed with the service with Google Webpass and it’s been a week since we switched from Spectrum. It was common for Spectrum to send notices about service outages and how long repairs would take. With Google Webpass if there is an outage, you have to call them to find out how long it will take to repair/if they can help you repair your connection through the phone. All it took was one power outage to completely take out the Wifi connection, even after the power was back on. Unfortunately, power outages occur fairly often in San Diego, so please take that into consideration. Furthermore, if they cannot fix the Wifi issues over the phone due to the modem not working, etc., then they will need a person to come out and fix it. There are no same day availabilities for a person to come and fix the issues when this occurred for us, which is again unacceptable since we are paying $70 for a service we are not receiving. I have never been without WiFi for over a day with Spectrum over the past 5 years, so this is completely unacceptable with Google Webpass. Especially for those who work remotely and depend on reliable internet, this has been the most unreliable network provider that I have worked with. I am utterly disappointed by the service. Do not believe everything that you see or hear about how great their service is. It’s only great when it’s working, and a complete nightmare when it’s not. If you want to try this network provider, do not go for the 1 year contract promotion. Try it for 1 month and see how you like it first.

To summarize, it is very unreliable. My connection goes offline every few hours and then it is restored again. Their price point is pretty high compared to what you can get from Cox as a promotional offer. Webpass does try to see you on fast internet but what's the point if it goes offline so frequently. I left Cox because they increased their prices from $45/mo all the way to $80 in a course of 2 years but what I realized was that the moment they are certain you are leaving, they offer the best promotion they have again. I switched from Cox for a lot of their issues but then I have a set of different issues with Webpass at a higher price point.

Their internet connection suuuuuucks. Keeps dropping. I left Cox because they kept increasing their prices and nickel and diming me for everything so thought I'd give Google Web Pass a try. They made purchase my own router. I put up with the smelly, rude, unhelpful installation dude because, well it's Google, but they are way out of their league here. They should stick to search ads. Going to call AT&T in the morning.

This company is a joke I was paying $60 a month for 2 years and then I turned around and they had lowered the price to $50 I had known this information for about 2-3 months. When I confronted the customer service department one woman got to combative with me she hung up! When I called back the second person said hold on and never came back to the phone! The only reason I did business with these people was my building had a contract and I couldn't go anywhere else. What a racket! Stay away from this smoke and mirrors fly by night company

Consistent and good service. I'm not sure why they let them say 1000mbps service when that is just a max number. I've never actually gotten those speeds. Consistent get around 200mbps down and about 75-150mbps up. They raise the rates 10-20% every year. Just got the bill for next year and it went up 17%, last year 9%. No change, just more expensive. Some heads up and explanation on why the rates increased so much would at least be nice instead of just receiving a bill for a big increase every year.

Better than cable but while everyone else keeps lowering data services these guys keep raising prices for no reason. First T mobile and now Verizon 5g home internet at or below $50, good luck Webpass, in another years time you will have far fewer customers, but that's ok you can raise your prices again

If you're lucky enough to be in an on-net building with them, I can't recommend them enough. A stable, well-tested ISP that understands the metro fiber market. There have been outages every once in a while due to switch failure or port problems, but the company is always on it quickly and provides solid notice before planned maintenance. The service itself is stable and a FAR better value -- especially for a symmetric upload service -- than you're going to get anywhere else in San Diego. I was a bit worried service would be affected by them being purchased by Google, but I'm pleased to say that things have remained incredibly reliable -- probably because much of the team is still there.

The technician who came to install our internet, Billy, was fantastic. We were told his window was 8am-12pm, so didn't know exactly when to expect him. I really appreciate that he got here early (even before 8am) to walk around the apartment and waited until 8am to knock on our door. He was very professional and diligent and friendly. We are super excited to finally have Webpass! Don't forget to tip your technicians!

Can I give them 6 stars please?!?!? The Webpass service is fantastic. The Internet service is speedy, the cost is fantastic, but my favorite part is their SERVICE. Jamie was my service technician, and he was amazing. We had so many problems getting disconnected from Cox. It took 7 calls and 6 service visits from Cox before they could get their done. Jamie was there the whole time, ready to go as soon as Cox got their act together. He was patient, supportive and relentless about getting my new service set up. Raul was a super great help, too! I am so impressed with the service I received from Jamie and Webpass. I look forward to doing business with them for years. Thanks guys!
