Got the Koi I was after, but didn't appreciate the third degree from the staff member who helped me, "do you have enough space in your aquarium?" No, I have a pond. "Is the water ready for fish?" I have had fish in it for the past 18 years. When I answered her kinda intrusive questions, she told me not to get an attitude with her. I really wanted two of the butterfly koi, so I didn't make a scene, or she might have asked to do a home visit before I could buy $22 worth of fish! So, if you run into this gal at this store, take your patience and don't punch her, it's just not worth it.

It's very hard to find an employee to ask questions or help finding specific items. Generally there is only one check stand open but an extra one opened up one time while I was there behind 5 others. If you're able to get an employee's attention they will guide you out provide answers for you. Prices seem to be very high, but no more than anywhere else.

Inventory has thinned-out.. The cat sand we used to buy here is no longer stocked. Fish supplies are really limited / have been reduced as well. (EX: No light fixtures for aquariums or bare aquariums).. Very limited stock or selection in all departments, anymore... Not what it used to be and prices have gone up too..

Highly disappointed we took our daughter shopping for a hamster for her birthday and then she picked one out was all excited and bought everything we needed for it and we set everything up bring it home and then we leave the next day and come home and it died the very next day on my daughters birthday she is heart broken and doesn’t understand why it happened and what happened it was 3 months old very tiny but it appeared to be okay when we bought it. I can’t believe this happened.

Lilian,(fish dept.),is Freakin’ AWSOME!! I do believe if it wasn’t for Lilian helping us we would probably have had a Cannibalism free-for-all in our tank! Maybe even some new flotation devices an hour later. She walked us through compatibility of our swimming companions along with the if’s,ands, the do’s and don’ts,the yeses,no’s,and maybe so’s. Raise the roof for Lilian.NO, Raise her pay! And the store is one of the reasons we go there. Thanks to the wife for the suggestion of leaving the other store which was another pet store but no name to be mentioned Though a “company of pets,’to put the name in lingo,smelt like the store had a “company of death!” Very bad odor.Very dirty and the fish tanks?,WOW!,the fish-of-gold could barely swim next to each other they were crammed in the tanks.Dirty and many rotten floating fish in the tank. Yes please,can I get one of them floating fish. Are those for decor?L0L🤣 Pet Smart store was very clean and no foul odor! Staff was helpful,kind and communicative. Repeat customers for sure. Kudos to the employees and again to Lilian! Our fish whisperer. Mmm?… Maybe she’s part mermaid?

I always have good experiences here, but today the staff went above and beyond. There was a customer who didn’t understand how filling prescriptions or online orders work, and was posted up in front of register 1 belittling one of the employees. Another staff member opened register 2 so the rest of us could still make purchases while the angry man was throwing his tantrum. The staff member calmly answered all of his combative questions, and handled the unnecessary verbal abuse incredibly well. A perfect example of the customer almost never being right, but still trying your best to have them leave happy.

Upon coming in I noticed this store is a mess. The lines are incredibly long, no one stops to back up for 5 minutes to move traffic through, the lines actually go down the store which are crowded with boxes of inventory (on a Sunday afternoon). The issues this created for me when I came into the store resulted in overpaying for a XL dog bed marked at $19.99, to which I found in a tub full of the multiple dog beds. Once I had cashed out I looked at my receipt I ran to the back to avoid holding up the already long line. I took some pictures of where I grabbed the bed and waited in line. The cashier calls over the Taylor the “manager” who scoffs and says it could absolutely not have been in the wrong spot. I’m treated like I was in the wrong, so I show him my pictures. End result: I return the bed, not because I mind splurging on my pup but because of the way I felt during this interaction with the staff. My money doesn’t need to be spent in a place where I don't like the way I’m treated. No apology was given to me. Instead I was treated disrespectfully for an error I did not create.

I absolutely love this Location. Such a wonderful experience with the Grooming department. I called to get my Cat groomed. They gave me the appointment that same day. Georgie made my Cat feel safe and comfortable with her.
