I knew I was in for an experience when i was greeted and treated to classic rock Peruvian flute band cover radio. I was trilled that they nailed the shape I wanted (pun intended) but i did not anticipate the application technique that resulted in uneven thin and spotty coverage (I've never seen so many brushes brushing the powder off and all over in between dips...so many dips, so much brushing, 2+ hrs, leave some on!) and that my color selection (green) was rubbed into and permanently stained my cuticles yellow which were cracked and horrid. I gazed in disbelief at the completed manicure and then at the tech and the lead as they compliment the color and took no issue with me walking out of their store with nails in that state and. Proceeded to charge $45. I happily paid as had little time to get to work and I needed a moment to reflect on this bizarre experience.

Among best places I’ve been to Jessica does my nails using dipping powder and results are fantastic Her pedicure is excellent A bit on slow side but quality and how long her work lasts is well worth the extra time it takes Everyone who works there is lovely and accommodating Can’t recommend this place highly enough Service: Manicures

Hyacinth is a wonderful nail salon, these ladies are amazing! They did such beautiful work for me and my mother before my wedding for manicures/pedicures. The salon is extremely clean and peaceful and the service is excellent. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back!

I just went in (535 pm) for an eyebrow waxing.. called ahead to see if I could have been fit in because I wasn’t sure if it was going to be busy. After walking in, I followed the woman into the little area and it wasn’t the cleanest but I thought it was almost closing time so I figured maybe they were just about to go do it prior to my arrival. As I lay there, I can feel her not doing them correctly. After she finished and I looked into the mirror to see them very sloppily done. I payed and STILL tipped…I won’t return though. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Service: Waxing

She didn’t even offer anything. And she knew my nails came out awful because they were all rough due to the top coat not fully drying before she had me wash my hands. I will never step foot in here again. Seems like she doesn’t care to have returning customers since she was rude and seemed annoyed when I kept telling her square as my shape while she was rounding them. Does not know how to run a business!!! Service: Manicures

The best place to go for manicures and pedicures!! Joe and all the girls are fantastic. It is always very clean and they have all up to date and current products. The massage after a manicure is perfect...they are very accommodating with last minute appointments, as well. Highly recommended!!

This is my favorite nail place for many reasons. First and foremost, the owners Joe and Jo-Jo are so personable and welcoming. They make the effort to know their customers names, even when I had only been there once. Their business is clean and the prices are reasonable. My favorite thing to go there for is foot reflexology. They also give good chair massages and do a great job with waxes. I hope they will be there for many years and prosper in their business.

Jenny the other nail technician is great as well. They take their time and you really get to relax. My nails Last twice as long as anywhere else. I used to go to Cozy Nail in old saybrook and get nowhere near what I get here. My nails would also chip within days. This is by far a top notch salon. You won't be disappointed.
