This store is horrible!! I would rather drive to the Brandon location than step foot in this location!! All staff are rude!! I’ve bought things that they consider good quality but have holes in them, stains and they even had bassinet that had spit up dried on the sides. I was in there last week and there was a lady that dropped off a tub a boy clothes I kindly ask can I leave my contact information and I will buy the rest from the lady whatever they didn’t buy and they got real nasty with me!! Let alone they only had about 5-10 items they quote on quote liked.

I feel like this is a nice store but 3 stars because as soon as I walked in there is a horrible air refreshener smell and literally I couldn't shop any longer because I felt so sick on my stomach. Maybe get rid of some of the toxic smells, there's alot of pregnant women shopping.. Otherwise, I can usually find nice clothes.

AWESOME store! EXTREMELY clean and we'll organized!! However, they didn't put our purchases in a bag. No bags?!? I seen a big bag with their store name on it with nothing in it but still they did not offer us a bag even when I asked them... And we had a lot of stuff! I definitely recommend shopping there but be sure to take your own bag!

This place is awful to sell to. They made me carry a stroller, bouncer, rocker, walker, 2 bags of clothes while holding m two year old and 8 months pregnant. Didn't even hold the door open for me. They didn't take a single thing I brought, all of it in perfectly good shape, especially the clothes and the bouncer. Only thing that wasn't clean was the small horse rocker due to dust and me not knowing how to clean it. I walk in and there talking about people in the store. Absolutely never coming back here again.

I went to this store multiple times to donate my new born clothes and other baby Accessories they turned down my things saying the clothes 0-3 months were colored faded when walking threw the store majority of the clothes were color faded in each gender section. when I arrived I wasn’t served with proper manners one of the employees was rude with smart remarks and wasn’t really trying to service me lucky one of the employees had to tell her a customer is waiting and she looked at me with Discuss like she has a problem with servicing African American Woman.

Their items for sale are often of sub-par quality. However, they will only accept your items in perfect condition. We’ve found similar items at goodwill for cheaper obviously. Often the associates overlooking your items will forget what’s yours and I suppose they will keep it if you don’t ask for it back. Not terrible, but business practices are confusing at best.

The staff there is always very very helpful and the customer service is excellent. I love once upon a Child! I will recommend this to anybody and everybody. Their prices are excellent they have an excellent selection good quality clothes! Thank you!

This place is a life saver! I’m a first time Mom and my cousin referred this store to me when we were going on the boat the next day and I had no idea what kind of clothing to put on my 4 month old. Luckily, the store staff was kind enough to help me find protective gear for him and I also grabbed some adorable clothes and a travel sleeper, all for less than $40! I was blown away that they had Carters almost brand new looking clothing for .50 cents on sale to $1.50. 10/10 would recommend!! What a wonderful service for parents who need affordable baby accessories. Side note to people who want more money for their used items: stores like this are able to offer clothes and toys for literally pennies to parents in need because they don’t pay out what you paid for your brand new item for, nor should they. If they paid what a lot of people here seem to feel entitled to, they’d have to charge almost brand new prices for used things to make a profit. It’s very uncouth to accept their offer, THEN go complain online - if you don’t agree, you can sell it a million other places, but you likely won’t find anywhere willing to pay you top dollar, nor should you, because so many other people simply donate the clothes and toys our babies outgrow without expecting money, that the market for used items is already full - i don’t understand the logo of expecting large amounts of money for things your child can’t use anymore. I wish some parents had a little more compassion and didn’t rate a store like this with TONS of benefits for parents based solely on their own disdain that they’re not being paid enough for used items. That’s not what these ratings are meant for. The store itself has so much to offer. I’m grateful for it and will be back frequently.

I worked at the Sarasota location off of Bee Ridge and was treated poorly the entire couple months of working there. The store manager Denise didn’t have any respect for her employees and never had anything nice to say. I over heard her a couple of times talking awful about other employees that were just a couple isles over from where she was standing and talking bad about them. It was a really easy job to do, which is a shame because I would have stayed with the company longer if I didn’t have such a horrible experience. I would not recommend working at this location.
