This particular location is terrible. On my last (and final) visit, I wanted to drop off a pre-paid USPS package. I didn't even set my box on the counter before the woman behind the counter abruptly stopped me to advise they wouldn't accept it. She pointed at 2 little boxes fixated on the wall and said those were the only 2 sizes they accepted because "The delivery driver doesn't have enough room on his truck." My package wasn't even big, and that was the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard. Patrons-save yourself the grief & hassle this place clearly does not want your business. I'd suggest instead, driving a few miles down to the Flamingo Crossings UPS Store where the employees are friendly and the hours are much better!

I go to this location all of the time and have never had a problem. The employees have always been fine, but I’m not expecting them to make a drop off a magical experience. The other members of my family have also gone to this location with no problems. That said - I have had *many* issues with the local USPS. If you’re using the UPS store as a USPS drop off and have issues with packages going missing, please submit complaints with them. I was dropping off packages at the actual USPS location and so many packages went missing that my employer banned me from using them.

Terrible customer service. They shipped it to the wrong address and I tried bringing it back to reship it 5 minutes before they closed and they wouldn’t let me in and said “it’s not their job.” You’re a shipping company, yes it’s your job to ensure my package gets to the CORRECT destination. Terrible company. Close this location down. Older male very rude and doesn’t understand what his business does if they aren’t supposed to ship it to the correct place. Go FEDEX. Consistent encounters with the same person and same UPS location. Needs a corporate visit.

I work in sales and regularly use UPS services. The employees of this Hamlin unit are very lazy, do not like to work and are always creating difficulties with the exception of Ms. Paula. Thank God PAULA appeared. She is sensational, a love of person. She always has a beautiful smile on her face and helps everyone. She ends up making up for the incompetence and laziness of the other employees, especially a tall middle-aged man who honestly doesn't know what he does there. Congratulations, Paula, for your affection, respect and dedication to people. God bless you.

This is the worst UPS unit I have ever seen. There's a middle-aged man, my God, how rude this man is. If you want to post a return box from Amazon, he is rude. If you bring a 30lb box, he's rude because he thinks it's heavy. If you go to UPS at 6pm, he's rude because it's close to closing. If you want to post many boxes at the same time, he is rude. And the other employees are also rude, but less so than this man. It looks like they are doing a favor for the customer. So do everyone a favor. If you don't like to work with people, if you don't like to carry a box with 30 pounds, if you don't like people to post more than 1 box at a time, look for another business. Because if you work at a UPS, you are subject to these situations whether you like it or not.

If you can avoid this place please avoid . They have so much attitude and treat costumer like they are doing us a favor. I understand that some days they can’t be that happy and some times they can be tired but every time is the same thing. We cannot drop more than 2 boxes for USPS in that location. We have no post office in this area and they are supposed to get it. This is a drop off location and they are refusing to do their job. I hope another UPS open around here. P.s- I almost forget, for send a e-mail for them to print is $5.00 and a additional charge for each page. Best of luck to all of you there.

Mailing a package should not be this unpleasant. I am happily giving you $14 to mail a $22 puzzle to my mother in law for Mother’s Day, and all I expect in return is cordial process. The cashier argued when I wanted to change the name on my information from my daughter’s name to my name. I gave her my drivers license with my name and address. She argued that my daughter was at the same address. I said that yes she is lives with me because she is 13. Then she got my address wrong and seemed annoyed with me when I pointed it out. The screen read unit 2414. My address is a house with a street address and no unit number. This was the screen to verify my address. Why was she mad? Then she asked if I had ever mailed to the address on my package before. Considering I have been married 18 years and had the same mil who has lived in the same house, my answer was yes. She said the address wasn’t in the system. Okay. I said maybe I have never mailed to her from ups? Then who I assume was a supervisor said that they were making sure addresses were in the system. I said that you have a better idea of what is in the system than I do. I said maybe you should ask if I’ve ever mailed to that address from ups before. The supervisor asked if my problem was the way she asked the question. I said yes. Right? I thought maybe the address didn’t come up as a real address or maybe I had written it wrong. But if your question is have I ever mailed to that address, I assure you, yes is the right answer. I do not deserve hostility because the question was not clear. And what was the point? If that address isn’t in the system as to me mailing it there before why couldn’t they simply say that it isn’t in the system and add it??? For the privilege of giving them $14 dollars to mail a $22 dollar item I was treated to poorly worded questions and hostility. Time to find a different shipping location.

It’s been months since last time I’ve been there because I really try to avoid going to this place. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I was in a hurry this time and this is the closest to my home, but I rather drive half hour more just to not be there. So rude… I promised myself I will never ever step in this place again. ***Replying to Priti, Store Manager: As you asked me to elaborate my “worst customer service” review… Maybe you should check all the various poor reviews you have here, as well the ones where customers are complaining about your employees (even the owner!!) bad attitude. Mainly the ones about the “old man” or “middle aged man”, or “grumpy”, that people referred on those reviews. I am definitely not going to UPS to be lectured on how Amazon is bad for your business, or how my package should be looking like (both in a very rude way). If you don’t like this relationship, quit Amazon or embrace and find a way to improve this process, or at least be polite with people. Or perhaps visiting your peers at US Hwy 27 and the one in Kissimmee at 192 to understand the difference in attitude (start looking at their reviews if you want), they are not perfect, but customer service is way better. What about ask your own customers about their satisfaction regarding the service they just received? I assume that this store has mostly local people like me as customers, living in Winter Garden, and that want to feel welcome when they are close to home choosing local business. Not a metro area where people just rush everything and don’t care much about grumpy people. I hope this is elaborate enough for you. Good luck!

I went there today to do an Amazon return and everyone was pleasant. Not sure why others had a bad experience. Maybe someone was having an off day. If so, kill everyone with kindness; it goes a long way!! This is not my first time visiting this establishment and no other time before today did I experience any negativity!

What to say about the UPS Store at Hamlin Center? The store is very clean, they do Amazon returns, shipping, notary, print and have their email address posted all over the place for easier sharing of information for them to print. They follow social distancing, mask wearing, and even have plackards to protect customers and associates. The associates have a good sense of humor. Good store.
