KeyBank

Stay away from this bank!!! They will screw you over like they screwed us over. Our account was closed for no reason at all. This was after confirming multiple times the account was properly setup and setting up direct deposit and transferring into the account. Do not trust this bank. They will steal your money and close your accounts. I have never in my life seen a bank as unprofessional and ill intentioned as Key Bank. The worst!!!!! ~Natural

Washington Trust Bank

This bank is not to be trusted. They are the worst. Outdated as far as online services. They will say and do anything to get control of your money and then deny you any access to your funds. They took advantage of my mom with dementia. When they got control of the money they tied it up for a lifetime something my mom would have never wanted. They control the money for my kids. It's a substantial amount and they refuse to help with anything. My daughter is developmentally delayed with special needs. They won't help with insurance, they won't help with. Medical bills. Nothing and when I requested $230 for a birthday party for my special needs daughter they said no. Christine Benson is the worst very cold person. She takes forever to respond to my emails, I asked for an urn and it's taken over 3 weeks and it's still not here. Don't ever use this bank for anything especially trust money. ~Savanna

Umpqua Bank

They froze my acct for 7 days for no reason and never notified me they were doing so or called me to clear up the issue they had. The Bank Protection department put no notes in the file regarding why they froze the acct so I couldn't get any help outside business hours. I called 5 different times and spent hours on this only to find out the issue they were concerned about had been resolved BY THEM 6 weeks prior. They had even sent me a letter. AND the Alberta branch was supposed to notify me and never did. I have had no access to my money for 7 days. They are worthless. This is the worst and LAST of a string of mistakes by Umpqua Bank. ~Erica

Union Bank

I opened a business checking account Jan 2022. After two weeks of use, a payment from the checking to an external credit card bounced and fees were charged by the CC issuer. Funds were not a problem. The CC company informed me Union Bank didn't allow the transaction to happen. I asked Union Bank about this and found out they froze my account completely with no notice given. I had no ATM, no checks, no deposits, NO ACH, no transfers, no access. Two more frozen weeks went by where I only heard guesses or speculation as to what was going on. They said their back office wasn't telling them anything about it, Maybe it was some merger, maybe it was their dilapidated computer system. Eventually the branch manager told me the best I could do was close the account and go elsewhere. They were so happy to open the account but crashed and burnt our relationship in 2 weeks when this cluster happened. I got no help or support. I felt like burden to an easy day just trying to ask what's going on. This was probably a side effect of their poor procedures, no internal support or communication which results in... my experience. A Banking break down and nobody knows anything. Terrible, bad, Such a waste of time. You've been warned. ~Ben

Chase Bank

Called them asking if I could get a cashier's check despite not being a customer. They said yes, but then said no when I went to visit. Fortunately they knew another place that did money orders. Really need to have correct information when answering the phone. ~Lucas

U.S. Bank Branch

Sierra is hands down the worst bank manager I've ever dealt with. Her behavior was beyond rude, it was unethical. With no notification, she retroactively placed an arbitrary two week hold on a check that had already cleared because, "I don't typically deposit personal checks". She inferred it was my fault for depositing a personal check, which is absolutely ridiculous, the check is from a major bank, it certainly won't take more than a day or two to clear. Sierra seemed amused by my frustration, and was completely uninterested in assisting me in finding a solution. Absolutely abhorrent customer service bordering on theft! Additionally, Google how they treated their good samaritan teller last Christmas, then find somewhere else to do your banking. ~Kirsten

U.S. Bank Branch

This is the worst bank I’ve ever been to. After using the ATM it took my card for no reason, then I had to go wait in line to withdraw money and order a new card. Turns out there was a line out the door because the ATM was taking everyone’s cards and nobody cared at all. Then while waiting in line they only have two people working. The two people working don’t care at all. They would rather converse in Spanish with Spanish customers taking their sweet time while everyone else gets increasingly frustrated. I have never had such a horrid experience at a bank. I will be switching yo a different bank asap. This was absolutely unacceptable. I will also find who is in charge of this unprofessional establishment and be sure to let them know. ~Kevin
