The UPS Store

Came in today around 6:30 asking questions about an Amazon return I'd dropped off the day before. It was extremely busy when I dropped it off, so didn't have time to ask any questions so the next customer could be helped and i left. Upon coming in today, the young girl at the front was very helpful and answered all my questions, but turned to ask her coworker Robin conformation about what she told me. Robin looked at me, and very rudely said "this was all told to you when you dropped off the package." I wouldn't have been back asking questions if the information had been told to me in the first place. The first girl had a shocked and apologetic look on her face, and I thanked her and left. I've worked customer service for over 25 years, and been in management for a good part of that. If I'd ever heard of an employee treating a customer as rudely as Robin was to me, she would be written up without question. Since this is the only close UPS store to me, I will be back... but refuse to ever be "helped" by Robin again. ~Chris

Walgreens

Generally speaking, the service is very slow at this store as i have been here multiple times, however, the last straw for me was the manager's attitude at the Fedex counter when I went there today to drop off a box. It is a Sunday (around 1:30 PM, Oct 2, 2022) and the, poorly trained, manager on duty rudely tells me she can't accept my box because there's no more room left; when, clearly, there was room available for more than just my box. When I pointed out the available space on the shelf, her tone became argumentative and she started ranting defensively. I picked up my box, walked out of the store, and went across the street to UPS, and took care of my business there. She may have been unhappy about her employer or life in general, but, how she acted towards me took away regular business from Walgreens and Fedex. She killed two birds with one stone. ~Sam

La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor

2 stars because we love our sofa but I do not recommend purchasing any furniture other than a La-Z-Boy brand sofa or recliner from La-Z-Boy. Originally purchased a coffee table and end table from this store that I decided after getting home would not work and called the next day to cancel the order but was informed that the furniture was a custom order even though the items were in stock in a warehouse and I was never told the order would be considered a custom order. Funny enough the sales person was able to put a hold on the order though. I was eventually told that I could order other furniture that was on the showroom floor but I could not receive a refund for the original order. Ordered a new coffee and end table that was overpriced for the quality of the furniture and was another set that I was not really happy with. When they were finally delivered the end table was damaged and the coffee table is not great quality with warped pieces. After 8 months of attempted repairs and the service ticket being closed erroneously or quite possibly intentionally, a new end table was finally delivered. However, we were advised by customer service that we would be able to keep the irreparable end table and that was not the case so the damaged table (could have lived with the hard to see damages) left with the delivery drivers. I regret ever purchasing any furniture other than the sofa but I will very likely never purchase any La-Z-Boy furniture item again after this horrible experience with their customer service. ~Amy

SouthState Bank

Went in today and opened a checking, savings and credit card since I just moved here and Molly helped me out because they were all on lunch . She was totally fantastic and got everything handled for me quickly and the ladies at the counter we so very polite friendly and helpful. If you need a bank go here!!! ~Alex

Walgreens

Extremely short staffed. Went there this morning to purchase two items. They had one person working the register at the photo booth. There was a woman holding up the line trying to get photos printed. I decided to get checked out at the pharmacy instead but I was ignored. All the pharmacists were on the phone. There should be at least one pharmacist available to help customers. Its extremely unprofessional for all of them to be on the phone. The manager should have been helping on registers since a line was forming because of the woman backing up the register trying to get photos printed. At the very least add a self checkout. ~Judy
