24 Best convenience store in Nashville, Tennessee (TN) 2024

Pleasantly surprised. The beauty assortment is great. Complete with a mix of big named brands and smaller. The smaller even has a great assortment and is quality. Favorite section was the beauty and skin care section. 10/10! I’m usually disappointed with dollar store cards but these were 1 dollar and so cute and well written. I recommend going here for fill in or travel trip missions. Great travel section. Did not pick up any food however. It’s not the cleanest however and the shelves were empty. ~Ashlee

I moved to this area in December. I was happy to have a convenient store like DG walking distance from my house. However, 80% of the time I walk up there, they are closed for no reason, no sign on the door. I’m talking 11am, 4pm, just not tried to go and it’s 6:45 pm. They need to just close this DG and let a store that actually cares about their customers open up in their location. The few times I have been able to catch them when they are open, the staff is extremely rude and follows me around the store as if I’m going to steal. They openly complain about their job and the “f****ng bums” (their words, not mine) that come into the store. ~Dean

Nice and clean interior with coffee bar, Beer Cave, and "Guest Rooms" (not rest rooms). Didn't get to try the coffee, but the guest rooms were OK and the beer cave had popular beers, though with limited craft options. ~Chad

I have had very few negative experiences here. I have used both the Donelson Pike and the Central Pike Walgreens before, and this location has been quite simply the best. Their hours make picking up prescriptions a little bit challenging, but I never have to wait for too long when I go to pick up my medications and when I am on hold on the phone waiting to speak to someone. The pharmacy staff is generally incredibly kind. I am on a good bit of medications, and they always help me keep everything in order. Dewana, the pharmacy manager, is one of the greatest pharmacy employees I have ever, ever worked with when it comes to my medications, and her customer service is top of the line. ~Chloe

Sarai the pharmacy technician was very rude and was having an attitude. Had no sense of customer service . She had poor communication and didn’t not provide friendly and timely service ~Ayushi

I give Walgreens 3 stars because their prices were inflated before the nationwide inflation started. I only go to this location because this is the pharmacy I use. However, the ladies that were working at the time were super nice and good customer service means so much these days because it's hard to come by in most cases. ~Jennifer

Didn't have a lot of things, but this location is one of the cleaner stores around. Some are filthy this was is well kept. The cashier was friendly also. ~Krishna

Did a 10 hr here 🚛 This place stays full! If you plan on staying here, then you need to buy a reserved spot hours in advance. Don’t wait till you get there, because chances are they are sold out. There is security guard that goes around and checks to make sure people have paid. There is no pull up lane when getting fuel. There is a Charley’s sub restaurant inside. Their hours have changed, so if it’s a weekend or past 7pm don’t get your hopes up to eat there. If you are up for a walk there are many places near by for food. It’s so close to down town you could even Uber eats food to your truck. They did not have anything in the hot box for dinner or breakfast, but there were a few cold items out. They sell beer 🍺 There are not many places to walk your dog. There is a small dog park near the scales. There is also a small patch of grass behind the store in the corner. 🐾🐶 They have a lounge with 2 massage chairs and 2 game machines. There are homeless people walking around. If you can get parking this is a nice place considering it’s so close to downtown. 🚛 I would come here again. ~Brittany

If I could give this person a negative star, I would. I pull up and she’s sitting outside smoking a cigarette. It’s 1:50am, me and my boyfriend walk in for snacks and cigarettes. She walks in minutes later and tells us not only is her register closed, but we have to self check out everything. We check out our snacks, and forgot we need cigarettes. My boyfriend walks to the car, another customer goes to the other self check out after he had already waited 5 minutes or more in front of the regular register, to get this employee to accept his d.o.b. I stayed behind to get cigarettes. An elderly gentleman walked in front of me, clearly not knowing how to use to the self check out and walked to the front of the register, where said employee started counting down her drawer. Making this poor man wait, she told him she would ring him up. Why not the rest of us? Other man got his beer, I never got my cigarettes, and I have no idea if the elderly gentleman ended up getting his ice cream. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. And she had no explanation and said nothing. We went to another gas station down the road to finish our purchase. And every customer in there complained. ~Laura

Dangerous place to shop. Homeless everywhere and even worse at night. So bad mini mall next door had to hire Cavalry Security Officers to run them off from the mall, but they come right over here to the Mapco store. I watched it happen more than once. 3 got into a fight in the Mapco lot and it spilled over into the mini mart parking and the Cavalry security Officer ran them all off in different directions. Bathrooms have not worked for some time. When they did, toilets were always stopped up because of the homeless using them. Don't ever eat there unless its packaged food. The drink and food bars are filthy because of the homeless in there using them. No telling what they touched. Just not safe. Not a safe place to use. They need to hire one of those Cavalry Security Officer from the mall next door to keep these people run off from inside and outside the store. That would make a difference. It seems to work for the mall next door. ~dwc4343
