Asked for help restringing my violin after purchasing new strings there, they snapped my first E string while trying to replace it, which happens, but then strung it again and put an A string on it instead which I realized when I got home. Can’t really play with two A strings :) Waste of time and money.

I've been going here since the early 90s for piano lessons. My kids are musicians and now the home family utilizes the store in Oxon Hill. I'm glad it's conveniently down the street from me.

Great Customer service and very knowledgeable. Went in to get my acoustic guitar repaired, and Matthew was very helpful. He asked me what type of music I played and helped me find new strings that best suited my use. The store, was very clean and felt very comfortable being there. I previously took classes from this store years ago. And while I can't speak on it now. I learned so much when I was there. If you have any music needs this is very much the store for you. Can't recommend enough.

My daughter is playing saxophone 🎷 ....so we are doing the rent to own option.... I'm always tooken care of and the staff is very knowledgeable about the instruments, equipment...etc....Staff is super friendly!!! I like the Music and Arts Oxon Hill location. .. Thanks for everything!

During my visit I met Mathew and he was such a HUGE help. I came in completely clueless of the instrument I was interested in and after speaking with Mathew I can say that I am now fully aware of everything needed to know to start my lessons. His customer service was phenomenal and very detailed. Thank you so much Mathew.

*****Updated Review Related to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic as of November of 2020: Like many businesses, Temperature Checks of Customers are now being Conducted here. Masks are Also Required . Please see their website for more information***** My previous Review was: I called this store before I visited for the first time today. Because I believe that good Customer Service can be given via telephone, online and/or in person of course, the way a business responds to me especially via telephone and looking at their website is my personal gauge as to whether or not I will be doing business with the business. This business has an Excellent website. I spoke with Racheal when I called this business for the first time and she has Excellent Customer Service Skills. The telephonic Customer Service alone I received encouraged me to visit this business asap not only as a Customer but also as a GLG. When I came in to introduce myself as a GLG, I was assisted by Reniqua and Matthew. Later on, Racheal came in, so I got to meet her in person for the first time. Reniqua and Matthew are awesome, and they were both extremely helpful and they very patiently answered all of my questions and they allowed me to take pictures. Something else that stood out to me was their Professional Teamwork and very obvious Respect towards me and each other......I was Very Impressed by that alone. This store is very clean, well-organized, and they have an extensive selection. They even sell Ukuleles and they even have their own Music and Arts Rewards Card program and I was able to sign-up for that while I was in the store......I personally love it when businesses have a Rewards Card program for customers:) I very much look forward to going back to this store soon to have my Voice Lessons and to buy more stuff. I will also be purchasing from their website as well:)

My daughter's flute was not working and had a performance coming up. I reached out to another location, however, they did not have any in stock nor would they have any before her performance. I contacted the Oxon Hill location to explain my dilemma and was pleased that they had some in stock. Not only were Toussaint and Matthew helpful, they were pleasant and went out of their way to ensure my daughter would have what she needed. I am extremely grateful for this location coming through for such an important event!

I had a very satisfying experience on both of my visits to the Music and Arts store ! Not only did each of the service agents help me choose the right equipment to build my first time studio but they also went above and beyond to give me great advice in reference to using the equipment! I send an honorable and special thanks to Mr. AJ , Mr. Toussaint Savwoir and Mr. Matt for there acceptional customer service , patience and knowlege!!

Rachel was awesome; full of good information and advice. Other staff in the store were very welcoming and helpful, as well. My son and I had a great experience, and being in there ignited a "music fever" within me! :)
