First time going here so possibly could be just a bad first time but!!! First the line was not that long (probably 2 cars in front of me) but they took forever. Then my wife and I ordered 2 sides each that were both fries and when we saw our fries it was literally only 1 order of fries. Then our sodas were terrible. Almost tasted like seltzer water with a tad bit of flavor. My chicken tasted alright but my wife said her chicken sucked. Her chicken was not seasoned at all. First time and possibly last time going.

I pulled in the drive through at 6. It is 7 and after two attempts I now have three sandwiches, non of which are what I ordered and paid for (spicy no pickle). This store is the slowest in Waldorf, the least accurate, and I recommend driving the extra ten minutes south to LaPlata, because you’ll probably get the correct order faster.

Today was just a bad experience, I always get chicken sandwiches here but today for some reason and they can’t seem to figure it out my buns on my chicken sandwich taste like chemicals were on them I cannot enjoy my sandwich and now my mouth has a very bad chemical taste. No, I do not have Covid, only the buns taste that way the chicken was good but the buns were awful almost like some type of chemical spray was on them.

The employees working at this location on 7/27/2022 around 6:30pm are the absolute worse! Both the drive thru and in store lines were long and not moving. Yet employees were laughing and joking and walking away from the work area instead of helping customers. There was absolutely zero care about the customers or working as a team to get the lines down. Additionally, I noticed there wasn't enough food to service the number of customers waiting. My family along with many others walked out after waiting and observing the foolery taking place behind the counter. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

The drive thru is always packed. It’s probably faster to go in. This Popeye’s has had the best chicken in this area for over 20yrs. I’ve been out of the area for 16 yrs and lived here for 8 yrs prior and it can’t be beat. It doesn’t sit because the place is nonstop busy!!!

I'm pretty sure this could quite possibly be the worst drive-thru in all of Maryland. If you need to be somewhere quick don't choose this place. Bare minimum you will be in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. As I'm typing this review I've currently been in the drive-thru for 24 minutes and there's still 3 cars ahead of me to get their food. Lesson learned.

Food was OK, but I went around 11pm at night and it was chaos. They seemed to have no leadership and it’s just a bunch of high school kids working. They kept taking orders, marking them as ready, but had no one to prepare the food. Then when bagged food slowly, complained about wanting to quit, and were picking random people to prepare their orders. Many customers were upset and started voicing their opinions. Moral of the story -train your kids to be leaders, folks.

I was pleasantly surprise that they were so quick. usually you have to go to Popeyes with patience since it's usually packed. it might have been a good time of day, just before the major lunch rush on a weekend. They had plenty of people working and they communicated the whole time we were there with each other on what was low so they didn't run out. They actually didn't have enough nuggets for my meal and asked if I wanted a substitute, that was much appreciated instead of waiting around for 1 nugget. The food was cooked thru and tasted as it should, I will definitely go back to this Popeyes.

Do not place online orders here!!! I placed an online order and when I arrived they had NO record of my order, nor could the give me money back even though I had a receipt. It appears they have alot of kids working here, and although they are nice and pleasant, they have no sense of urgency. The drive through was slow but there was an abundance of chicken ready. The only person hustling in there was the cook. I sat in the drive through to pick up my order before deciding to come in. Its slow on the inside too. Don't bother coming in for speedier service. I will just air fry chicken at home and save my coins.

This has to be the worst Popeyes in MD. Terrible customer service, all the employees were angry. The wait was unacceptable, the soda machine was nasty. And this particular store has been like this for a while. I don't know if they need new management or just closed it down. And to add the food made my kids sick. I would never step foot in there again
