Stephen Supica. (Premier Relocations in Novi, MI ) & an agent for Mayflower moving, showed up for a pre-scheduled appointment and was rude and curt to his elderly client (my mother). He entered the home, presented his card and asked "is this it?" My mother explained the bulk of the items had been packed and staged in the garage for pick-up. He stated the earliest he would move her was outside the window previously requested and concluded with "I don't have time for this." He made it abundantly clear that he did not have time to talk to her or conduct the survey. My mother, bewildered at this point, asked why did he accept the appointment and agreed to conduct the survey when he could not meet the requested timeframe to move her? And with a few minutes of his arrival, he was asked to leave, and he did so leaving a very confused and upset elderly woman. The representative that set up the survey was apologetic on his behalf and offered to send another agent...we decided not use this company (Premier Relocations).

Very disappointing. We booked our move well in advance and had Premier-Mayflower inspect our whole-house load twice before loading day. On moving day, they sent a truck (a United-Corrigan truck - huh?) that was pre-loaded with 2 smaller residences. As a result, a large portion of our load had to be transported in a separate truck by a different crew to a temporary site, crated, and then moved by another carrier. At certain times Premier could not even tell us where our furniture was at. It eventually showed up a week late, dirty, and showing extra wear & tear from repeat handling. The icing on the cake: we purchased “option 2” coverage for $425 which promised $250 per day for late delivery compensation. But after submitting our delay claim, Premier is now trying to pull a fast one and say that it doesn’t apply to “overflow shipments.” This is beyond just poor customer service — we feel deceived by the way they are handling “option 2” delay claims. This has been a huge hassle which is going to take a lot more of my time and effort to sort out.

Nope, I cannot recommend Premier Mayflower. Yes, as many have mentioned, their sales representatives are good. John did an excellent job convincing me to use their services: their costs were competitive, but I chose Premier because I believed they were trustworthy. My move to another state was unnecessarily painful because of their unprofessional operations team. Lowlights of the experience: (1) they postponed the loading date, notifying me on the morning of the move, which cost me significantly - and they provided conflicting reasons for the postponement (“equipment issues”; later “Covid”); (2) Next, they loaded onto TWO different trucks, asking me at the END of the packing to prioritize my items because they likely would not arrive the same date… maybe they subcontracted this work; (3) so many things were damaged due to poor packing and handling that the delivering agent’s moving team apologized many times; (4) they delayed the unloading date with less than 16 hours of notification, because of internal miscommunication regarding arrival of the shipment. I’ve moved 8 times, including internationally and between states. Never had a worse experience, especially having my property split into two containers and forced to receiving on multiple days. Problems happen and things get damaged during moves… that’s not the problem here. Premier almost seemed determined to give us anxiety. Maybe they can handle a local move; DON’T use them for long distance move.

Lina and John Hopkins were FANTASTIC! This is our 15th move and I can unquivocably say they made it our best! Their professionalism and care are second to none. Not once did I stress over anything, they were always there! All loading and unloading crews were great! Driver was the best and showed up right on time as promised!

They damaged a 6 month old office desk and our dining room chairs. When we reported the damage, they sent out an "independent" furniture repair company to examine the damage. Premier then stated the independent company they hired, found the damage to be caused by normal "wear and tear". Normal wear and does not occur after 6 months and it certainly doesn't result in three inch long gouges across a desk top. Of course Premier never produced any documentation from this furniture repair company. Even if they had done so; when you are paying a company to evaluate furniture damage caused by your company, they cease to be independent. We will never hire this business again and I would strongly advise anyone moving to seek out a reputable company.

The whole moving process was made a lot easier for me due to Premier. Gary was great when he came by to give me an estimate- very detailed and provided me information about all the different options. I appreciated the time he took. Marissa was then very helpful with communications prior to, during, and after my move. I loved that she was always very responsive and good about checking in on the process. The movers themselves were very careful as they wrapped my furniture and loaded it. The pricing was also very competitive. Highly recommended!

I hired Premier Relocations whose Parent Company is Mayflower recently for a cross country move and I am unhappy with the service for a few reasons. If you choose to go with Mayflower know that your glass tables or anything that has a glass top WILL NOT be reassembled, even after they have disassembled them. This was not explained to me prior to the move. I have 12 glass tables/pieces of furniture including a large glass top entertainment center. Three in particular are glass tables that must be screwed together which the movers refused to reassemble. I hired Mayflower a few years ago and they re-assembled these exact SAME three glass tables with no problem. I cannot understand why this company thinks it is reasonable for a customer to lift very heavy glass, let alone re-assemble something that they did not disassemble in the first place!!

I had a wonderful experience with Premier. I moved across the country and they made sure everything went smoothly - even when I didn't have specific dates or a specific destination at the time. I just had my belongings stored for a few weeks and it was not a problem whatsoever! Gary was super helpful at my old location, giving me an estimate and making sure I had all the moving supplies I needed. Marissa was amazing the entire way through - always keeping in touch and facilitating my move at every step of the way. Even the local movers at my destination were great! I would definitely recommend this company, and I hope I have the chance to utilize their services again in the future.

Premier Relocations helped us move from Michigan to Georgia and they did an extraordinary job every step of the way. They were accurate doing the estimation and offered a better price than other companies we contacted. Crew members both in MI and GA were punctual, professional and really careful when packing, handling, loading and unloading our things and assembling our furniture. Our agent and move coordinator were clear and thorough when explaining the whole moving process and they were available and helpful whenever we needed assistance. And absolutely everybody was always super nice and understanding. We would definitely recommend them!
