So sad. Walk in, no one was there... I look for a pre-made pint for my choice. I scan, scan...Noooooooooooooooooo! No pre-made pints of Peanut butter & Chocolate ( the best Peanut butter chocolate ice cream in the world! I have NEVER found one that beats it). So, I turn to leave when someone in a greying t-shirt ( no uniforms any more?) asked if he could help. I asked about THE only flavor that matters and he offered to look, but alas, no. They did not have any in the back...but he could pack a fresh one, but it will cost more...really? You want me to wait, to pack it and pay more? In the the immortal words of Varuca Salt, " I want it now!". Sorry, but I'm not waiting that long to pay more. Do they sell this in the grocery stores?

The clerk was a saint! A customer had five kids who were loud and obnoxious. She handled the situation so well, I was impressed. Great ice cream! Cheaper than therapy.😊

And it's still got the old-school charm you remember as a child. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I often take my father here for a treat. A couple weeks ago, he actually told me he wanted banana ice cream. (He usually says 'anything,' so this was a big deal.) They didn't have banana that day, but a team member got creative by mixing vanilla ice cream with fresh bananas, simple syrup and made my dad the best banana shake EVER. He LOVED it!!! After drinking it he said we've been eating raggedy ice cream. Indeed, we had. I really appreciate that so much. You never know how a small gesture can be so big in someone's life. He could have said he didn't have any banana but worked to please us. That's SERVICE!
