Chris provided a great facial, along with a relaxing experience. Recently moved and new to the climate, so thoughtful advise was provided on products for this dry/windy local.

Good Customer service but employee needs to offer more products that may be helpful for me instead of just waiting for me to ask the questions

My favorite Cosmetic Studio. Marina and Sylvia make a great team. They both are very attentive and professional. I've been a customer for a while now, and I enjoy my visits. This place is definitely worth five stars.

I received a pumpkin facial as a gift for Christmas, while visiting my family. My mom, aunt, cousin and grandpa have also come here for services. There was a Groupon incident between my aunt and this establishment where my aunt felt poorly treated and wrongly accused of trying to cheat the Groupon system and has not returned. With this incident, Chris called my mother to discuss this problem because of a review my aunt left, which in turn, made my mom uncomfortable and confused because that problem had nothing to do with her. Chris threatened my aunt through my mom and said she would call the cops if my aunt returned. Bizarre to say the least. I was nervous walking in because of this prior knowledge I had, but wanted to give this establishment a fair chance especially my mom had a great experience. When you first walk in, you fill out a one page information sheet that includes questions like medical disorders and medicine. Chris was my esthetician and she was nice upon first meeting. She made small talk, She complimented my skin, my mom and my grandpa. I get facials and peels every month back at home so I’m not a newbie. This facial burned my mouth and chin area, not to the point of being unbearable, but I did mention it during the service. Chris shrugged it off as no big deal and told me if it was above a 5 on the pain scale to let her know. Which ok, you’re the professional, guess I’ll go with it. She did a good massage of my arms, neck and upper back along with guided meditation. When we got through the light therapy portion of the service, she started talking about how these treatments aren’t good for people with immune disorders. Instant panic sets in. I have multiple sclerosis. An autoimmune disorder. That I listed on that 1 page sheet upon walking through the front doors. That she clearly didn’t read. I start explaining this to her and she cuts me off saying “immune disorders like Lupus or Hashimoto’s”. An autoimmune disorder is an autoimmune disorder. She clearly didn’t understand or want to understand and kept brushing it under the rug saying if I was going to have a reaction, or flare, we would know by now. In my mind I kept thinking “that’s not how this works! That’s not how any of this works!” I couldn’t enjoy the remainder of my service because I kept thinking of the repercussions my body might take from this along with the top of my mouth and chin continuing to burn. By the time it was over, she did comment that my upper lip area was irritated and puffy and suggested it was from waxing. “Nope, never waxed my upper lip before”. I exited the room, she handed me a bottled water and I tipped her. She told me to give my mom a hug and tell my grandpa “hi”. I wanted to be nice and make small talk so I asked how long in between do people get treatments/when can I get another(not here), basically. Also thinking I have my regular at home treatment in a couple weeks and wondering if I needed to cancel. She casually and sweetly stammered over her words with “no. Well a few months. But you all are not allowed back here.” I was completely shocked and caught off guard because of how professional and nice she was at the beginning, along with the compliments of my family. I said, “oh. Really? Ok”. She smiles and says, “ask your mom.” It was awkward. Unprofessional. Shocking. I’ve never ran out of a place faster. Morale of the review: beware if you have chronic medical conditions (don’t assume people read over what they require you to fill out). Beware of the deceptively sweet exterior. Beware of unprofessionalism. Beware beware beware!

Took my grandma here to get a makeover they did a wonderful job. Walking her through each step, listening to her concerns as well recommening the right products for her skin tone. Plus they do facial treatments there as well. I got a vitamin c serum. Which I'm on love with. Bonus their products are hypoallergenic free and some are vegan
